In The GQ

The latest phenomena in the bigger cities...is how the masses get around...once was owned by the Taxis...right?...along came the pedicabs, which is huge here in the GQ (Gaslamp Quarter)...for those not in the know...geez, is walking dead?...then, the brilliance of Uber and Lyft...another form of 'taxiing', that is quicker and cheaper...alas, cometh is the $1 dollar an hour bike or scooter!...you pay, you ride, and you just drop the bike or scooter, wherever you want...who walks?...

It brings a problem with it...blight...they are obnoxiously yellow and green (I know, you heathens equate that to Oregon colors)...some are also OSU orange...and you can find them EVERYWHERE!...saw one on the side of the road on I-5...even on the road out in El Cajon, by my golf club...who would ride one out there?...the oasis island of Coronado...you know, where the beautiful Hotel Del is the main draw...banned the bloody things...

Bike sharing is what it is called...another problem is that the riders feel like it is their right to traverse anywhere...sidewalks, lawns, well, anywhere...the scooter?...worse yet...these thangs are electric...the users, do the same as the bikers...they will go anywhere...at a pretty fast speed, too...these people dodge in and out of traffic, speed past pedestrians on sidewalks....a calamity in the making...all this without helmets, to boot...

Am I complaining?...or am I informing?...I dunno...I suppose more of the former...as the bikes are left everywhere you look...and that is a BLIGHT!...pictured here is from where the idea apparently began...in China...this appears to be a colorful square of flowers...look closer, as this is what happens when the concept dies...

Other...

 The NBA...the number 1 seed in the east was swept by LeBron, well, and the rest of the Cavs...Toronto Raptors...who will call it quits with what they got...figure trades and the pink slip to the coach...ain't good enough...REBUILD...ah ha...Philly got at least  one versus the Celts...but, the inevitable matchup with Cleveland looms...Houston in a laugher in the west...as is Golden St...there you go...

POTUS...is reportedly, er, someone has been leaking this...er, Twittering it...that Trump may be restricting his lawyer, Rudy, from talking to the press...c'mon man, this is why we write...don't take that away...his latest?...that his 'former' attorney, "may have paid off other ladies, too..."...ha ha...ha ha...ha ha...I have it, a new show for that network, 'The Real Mistresses of the White House'...now, I would watch that one...I digress...

The Met Gala...well now, this is the good stuff you have been waiting for...in NYC...where all the pretty gals get dressed up to be seen...some may take it as to be outlandish...ala, Katy Perry...and most all of the KFam were there, too...even the elderly KK...no pix here...just the idea of it all...just thought you'd like to know...go to the E! website for the photos...

Speaking of altering your looks...the Horse got rid of his goatee...some were saying it was too white for the gnarly skin he owneth...and now HE is as pretty as the KFam lot...

Does anyone out there find it repulsive that DWTS has Tonya on it?...not on my must see list...and, in fact, I haven't watched any of it...

This WHOLE week is dedicated to honoring the nurses and teachers out there...in the free world...geez, when is the last time you HEARD that phrase, 'free world'...?...why don't they get their own week, and not coupled up?...still, I honor both...this land couldn't work without 'em...

Kylia Carter...name ring a bell?...I'm sure not...as her son, Wendell Carter, went to Duke on a scholarship to not only go to school, ah hem, but to play hoops there for Coach K...what better one is there?...however, she likened the experience "to slavery and the prison system"...you see, the lads, don't get paid $...and the school makes big money off the sport that her kid plays...obviously, she feels that the kids should get paid MORE for what they do...what say you?...is she right or wrong?...

The Pads started Chase Headley at 3B last night...we lost 8-5...and he went ofer...he is batting .136...and the club pays him $12 or $13 million dollars to play for SD...yet another brilliant move by the GM Preller...disgusting...

The Preds forced a game 7 in the NHL playoffs...what I don't get...and I am NOT a hockey dude...is how the scores change so radically from game to game...it's not like they are changing pitchers...or goalies...well, I always pull for Nashville...

Just try to follow this...one would think that the Taylor Swift Concert would be a coveted ticket for the masses, if not for the younger generation, for sure...she is about to embark on a 51 date tour...and the alarming reality is...they are not sold out...so, the ticket peoples are adjusting on how to sell, or move them...are the tix priced too high?...hmmm...

John McCain is making out a list for who he wants at his funeral...what?...Obama yes, Trump no...talk about weird weird weird...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
