Goal Setting

You ever feel like your life may be languishing in mediocrity?...are ya'll getting somewhere...or are you muddling about in the same position?...needs to improve what is 'the meaning of life'...there is a cure...so, trust the Horse...and set up some goals...yea, Goal Setting...

Now in our advanced years, it becomes a tad bit harder...as the opportunities may have dwindled...you probably have your home, car, your mate, well, family, and your lot in life...already...and the HOME is not too far away...so, knowing that, get ON with it, kids...

If you are still a youngin', the steps may have MANY more to them...but, as I see it...these are the ones to establish...take these and adjust...to YOUR situation...with no particular order...

1.   Make more money....what?...but I'm on a fixed income...you see, your choices increase with the scratch you have...yes, so mine is more of a dream...hit the Pick 6...ah ha...or the lottery...one of them...keep it simple...do not invest a whole lot...and keep the aspiration alive...

2.  Travel more...hmmm, refer to number 1...find ways to get out and about...see what you have always wanted to...sometimes, a change of scenery can be very invigorating...

3.  Simplify your life...yea, this is a HUGE deal...get rid of nonsensical things you have accumulated in your vast years of living...what was good 20 years ago, probably has no value nowadays...you think when you go to the HOME, your kids will want what you have accrued?...hardly...like in our case, we moved our lot into a condo...the amount of stuff we had...

4.  Be nice...seems simple enough...but, go out of your normality and smile at more people...pass the smile on...listen more and speak less...are you one of those, who tell your whole life to?...try this, 'what's been going on?'...

5.  READ...learn...everywhere...books, newspapers, and magazines...well, OK, even your comic books...find out what others have got to say...whether it is fiction or non-fiction...it is amazing the stories that are out there...especially the Crazy Horse blog...hey, kids, this is BIG...

6.  Lose weight...egads...the hardest of all the goals...you lose energy...as you age...so you have to do more to weigh less...and do more of the right things...my bugaboo...

7.  Work out...see number 6...kinda goes hand in hand...the Horse has been walking the course...a nice step...but, get in the workout area, is the next....

8.  Get political...oh my...listen, kids...as you become an elder...this is real important...to pass on your knowledge to the youngins...this may be a stretch...but find other elders, that can do just that...that lead the city you are in...and even, the country, too...like the youngins, VOTE...

9.  Listen to music...makes no diff how...whether it's the radio, pixels, car radio, cd's, or vinyl...or cassettes or 8 tracks...whatever...nothing calms the soul like tunes...nothing...makes your mind happy, too...

10.  Find your happy place...this is an ongoing goal...where are you the happiest?...wherever...find it...maybe this is the ultimate one...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
