Strange Brew

There is lots to like about the NBA playoffs...that is if you are a hoop junkie...as the best in the game, finally get at it...there is a light at the end of the extremely loooong tunnel that these dudes play in...granted, they now get paid quite nicely...too well, if you ask moi...whatever...

In lieu of the regular season of 82 games...now, there is THE prize, that they all want...the Champ Ring...much different than from the era that I grew up in...maybe, 16 teams or so...now it is 30...unlike the unmatched quality of the Bill Russell led Boston Celtics of the 60's, the teams in the here and now...may have 2 or 3 'stars'...Bill and Co, had like 6...really....I digress...

So much hype about the Philly 76ers...riding a nice winning streak...drew the Heat in the first round and subsequently clobbered them in the first fray...not so, in game 2...as the, in the now, legendary Dwayne Wade...turned back HIS clock and dominated the 4th Q...terrific play and that series goes to Miami, tied...cool...

In the west...Golden St awakened themselves...after getting pushed all over the place in the first half by the Spurs...have to admit, I have never seen the former Blazer, LaMarcus Aldridge, play so well...and physically, too...but, the shooters of the Warriors took over...Thompson and KD...and that was that...up 2-0...a chink in the armor yet again...though...the antics of GS's Green...he went off...just don't know if he gets it...

The Pads started Erlin at P...listen, 'brass' of SD...he is NOT a MLB player...no way no how...the Bums feasted on his throws...and this was over before it started, almost...there are plenty of young arms in the minors...that is what every publication is telling us...so, why on earth, throw a game away?...do they not see what I see?...ha ha...

The walls are shrinking...the attorney for 3 people?...Michael Cohen...what a gig...listed one of his 3 as the FOX political analyst, and Trump supporter (duh), Sean Hannity...collusion?...aw come on...there are just so many threads in this sweater that are unraveling...
