Smoked!

Hey now, that could have but many interpretations, huh...SMOKED!...let's keep it simple...I am referring to the Cavs, who got pulverized by the Pacers in game 6 of their series...it was delightful...obviously, the Horse is NOT a Cleve fan...ha ha...upwards from 20 most of the 2nd half, the King led maroon dudes, were pointing their fingers at each other...blaming one another...back to Cleveland for game 7...toss up?...

You could use the same headline for the woeful Pads...as they are back home at Petco...apparently, it makes no diff where they are...still find ways to lose...gosh, I do hate saying that...embattled in a one run game into the 7th...Mgr Green goes to his pen, and the dude...promptly gives up a 3 run HR...smoked!...and this one was over...let's move on...tonight should be a big crowd...as they are giving away 'hoodies' as promotions...do the Mets fans like those?...

Very odd situation on a golf course in Pennsylvania...where a group of women were reportedly, taking too long to play...they were told to pick up the pace...thing is...they were black women...the police were called to remove them from the grounds...all hell broke loose...racially charged?...I keep reading on it, and I am not sure just what the heck did happen...

Just why did the chaplain of Congress get the heave ho from Paul Ryan?...all signs point to a sermon he gave...well, a prayer...to Congress that 'over stepped' his message...that he went into politics...Father Conroy...thought it may have been the one like a month or two ago...having to do with equality...maybe, it's good thing that Ryan is departing...

Smoked...the pride of Nashville...the hockey Predators...starting their next series in that playoff...lost big to the Jets...listen, that city goes crazy over their hockey team...not sure if you know this, but the best team of all, just may be the one in Vegas....true...

The Utah Jazz dominated the Thunder and gave them the exit, stage right...without a doubt, the most underachieving franchise in the NBA...OKC...look for changes, probably from the coach to the players...let's look on the bright side, Utah is playing real well...and COULD get to the finals...wouldn't THAT be a story...

Now...the Art Garfunkel Concert...the theater, is a majestic one...lavished in old time beauty...with comfy seats, albeit a bit tight in some areas...like the row we were in, was right against the wall...strange...dang, here we go...the show was a huge disappointment...he came out with a guitar player and a piano dude...that was it...which emphasized his voice...hmmm, that was very weak, kids...throw in his need to read from his book...what?...you got that right, excerpts from the rambling pages he wrote...there were those, who thought that it was cool...not us...we couldn't wait to exit!...

We have seen hundreds of people perform...you know this...yup, and this one was in the bottom 5 of all time...you know, I almost felt cheated...we did rebound tho...ventured out and found a 'new to us' restaurant...de'Medici...they prepare the salad in front of you...cool...lasagna and the meatballs....very nice...so, not all a loss...

Hope your weekend is fun and relaxing, at the same time...

Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
