Tonight we have a concert over at the Balboa Theater...a 5 block walk....way cool...and the entertainer is?...none other than Art Garfunkel...yes, half of the infamous  Simon and Garfunkel...first time to see him....you have a favorite?...mine is his version of 'I Only Have Eyes For You'...did you know that this song was actually written in...gulp...1934!.. by Harry Warren and Al Dubin...for the film 'Dames'...most of us heathens, liken the 'modern' version by the Flamingos...which was put out in 1959...go ahead, and give Art's a spin...

Breaking...the NBA did admit that the crucial 'block' by LeBron James in the last few seconds of the Pacer/Cav game...was indeed a 'goal tend' and should have been 2 points for Indy...our bad, so sad, you lose...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
