Base Brawl (s)
Happened twice yesterday in the Bigs...first was the Yankees and the Red Sox...'the spikegate' started their bout...as the NY dude slid into 2nd and into the Bosox bloke's calf...cheap shot, for sure...benches emptied and no punches thrown...until...the NY dude who was the slider, came to the plate...and got pummeled in the back with a pitch...he charged the mound and there you go...brouhaha...
Then our own Padres...got the hit by pitch twice...one that actually took out our starting CF, Margot, for a 10 day DL in his ribs...and in the next game, our RF Renfroe, who hit the game winner, the night prior, got tagged in the wrist the next day...cheap shots...of course, when the Rockies came to the plate, there was a 'message' thrown...behind the batter...well, that kid went berserk...threw a roundhouse that missed...luckily...and the benches cleared...
Seems a bit early for this type of feelings...if you have an opportunity...watch what the umpires do...get outta the way...and just observe...hmmm, see any similarities to those who officiate hockey?...in hoops, they get in the middle and stop it...or try to...

POTUS sort of backed off from his imminent attack of Syria...calmer heads prevailed?...or did the rest of his cabinet (?) talk him down?...he is listening to them, right?...
Chuckled a bit about an ad I saw...vintage shirt...wait a minute, is that supposed to be 'used?'...or, is it made to resemble a shirt from the past?...a nehru collared one?...remember them?...
Is there more to the story on Paul Ryans departure from Congress?...or is he just burned out?...odd?...I'm thinking time will tell us more...
The NBA playoffs are set...and those teams that did not make it...do the unfortunate normal...fire their coach...two did so immediately....the Knicks and the Magic...hmmm, after only 2 years at the helm...that is total BS...if any, get rid of the GM...especially in the NBA, it is ALL about the talent you have, NOT the system you run...sorry, kids, but that's the truth...
The midwest is to get like up to a foot of snow today...what?...all the way up to Minnneessota...geez, and we were basking in the sun at the pool...and then swimming in it....I just realized that the management here, is keeping the temp up...yea...I will use it more...now...
The now defunct Toys R Us...after selling off their merchandise...so...they have one more sale to go through...the property that these structures are on...and they are having trouble doing so...usually, they are free standing ones...not like many other businesses who have gone kaput...inside of a mall...
Finally, out and about with them Mackles last eve...and my point?...the Horse sipped on the real Pappy...a once in a great while thinger...and it was mighty fine, kids...jealous?...
