A Match, Redux?

Has this year's Masters turned into a match play finish?...as the two top blokes are the same duo that were paired in a monumental battle in the last Ryder Cup...the Euro, Rory McIlroy, and the Amero, Patrick Reed...the finger pointing...the terrific play...and yup, they are in the final grouping...lurking, are a gaggle of my picks...ie, Rahm, Stenson, Bubba, and Jordan...iff, one of them sneaks by the two top ones...well, you never know...

Sadly, the legends, Tiger and Lefty...are back in the pack...way back...and the Q continues on...can Woods return to greatness?...maybe we don't care...

POOF!...there goes the winning streak for the Pads...in yet another 0-0 thriller in OT....lose it by misplaying a pop up by the pitcher's mound...egads, as we continue our destruction of the fundamentals of the game...yes, kid, this is a major league team...'big time baseball' as the pixel analyst continually reminds us, Mark Grant...keep repeating it, Mark...in the end, the reprise may be unjustified...

Such another sad story of Syrian killings at the hands of their own government...more of the chemical variety....allegedly...how else can you look at this as a waste of mankind...I don't get it...and...POTUS is reacting as if he is going to do something about it...buckle up...

Did you know that NBC runs a quick version of SNL early in the night?...there appears to be so much material from the White House, that they have to sift through and just do some highlights...BTW, who and why is Cardi B?...oh my...

News outta Santa Anita...that the winner of the Derby...another Baffert hoss...just may be the real deal...Justify...yup, I bet $2 on it...a small win, but a win, nonetheless...hip hip...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
