Must be about the money

Hi kids...we are back...and are so tired from the relentless two weeks of on the go...and go...and go...met with some great peops, but listen...we are not spring chickens...ha ha...it's not over, yet...as M goes back to work today...and I roam over to the BMW shop for a new car...all, this am...then...yes, then...we can step away for awhile...

My headline today is about the D-1 Hoop tourneys throughout the USA...with the FBI 'alleged releases' of misdoings of coaches and players...er, the tapes they have of the laundering of cash all over the land...it appears to be swept under the carpet...no suspensions or anything...and the games go on....included are the people named...play on...must be the amounts of money that is made (and gambled on) for these games...why else?...

Duke...one of the probable favorites for the aforementioned 'Big Dance'...the money ladened D-1 Tourney....where so many of us, fill out a bracket...pick the winners...and hope for a cash prize for the gamble...showed it's vulnerability last night...as one of their stars, Grayson Allen, resorted back to his olden times...missed twice badly in crunch time...and worse...did yet another cheap shot..as they lost to their forever foe, UNC...

Not often do you have the world of sport crossing over to the everyday 'top' news items of the day...name the top 5 and you have the latest killings, the Prez and his latest whatever, Putin and what he did or did not do to our last election, Kim Jong and his power trips, and the K Fam...it's true...throw in a remarkable resurgence of the one and only Tiger Woods...and he breaks thru to the top 5...he has that type of interest...

We took many Uber and Lyft rides while in Vegas...and asked the drivers about the mass killing night...they all were driving...so many requests, then...unexplainable drops...the word is that the assassin was trying to hit the airport, too...I snapped a couple of pix of where the spot was...eery...

Don't look now...but the dang PDX Blazers have snuck into 3rd place in the NBA west...wowser!...got a rip snorting win over the injured, er, banged up Warriors last eve...whatever...you play with whomever you got...now this is real...play on...listen, Dame Lillard is one of the elite...and is finally...getting his due...

This Stormy thing is getting stormier...probably just ask Melania...way more for her, I suppose...

Not sure how this works out...but...early reviews of the new American Idol are not good...starts Sunday...is some of this already canned?...interesting...

Not that long ago, UConn's HC, Kevin Ollie, was the hottest commodity in D-1 hoops...hmmm...he got fired today...he even won the bloody championship in the past 4 years...oh my...what have you done for me lately?...'initiated disciplinary procedures', whatever the hell that is...

Somebody sure has it out for Kelly Ripa...continuously slamming her in the press...this item keeps popping up...weird...

Not sure if I dislike any comedian more than I do Kathy Griffin...she is not funny...and yet, she thinks she is...

Everyone is raving about the potential top pick in the NFL Draft...and think that the RB out of Penn St is a can't miss...I ask this, cuz I don't know...was he this heralded while playing in college?...

The Q for the day...apparently it is gonna rain here today...right before I exchange vehicles...should I have the car I have now, washed and cleaned?...or take it as is...hmmm...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
