Monday Moaning

The Bracket was announced for the Big Dance...hmmm, cuz CBS, coupled with TBS, now has the flagship rites...it is referred to as 'March Madness'...whatever...the intro to the teams that made it...were listed alphabetically prior to giving the nation where they were actually playing...so the snubs knew right away....

I know...I stated that if you are feeling the snub...you were like 69th and 70th in the nation, well...maybe you should have been 40th or 41st after all....here are two examples...I may have changed me mind...

Apparently there was a message that was sent loud and clear...it made no difference when teams won their influential to the committee games...ah ha...let's read into this...those who finished strong...no big deal!...I say POOH to that...if you lose a gaggle of games at the end of the regular season...out with ya...and...for the poor conferences out west...all of them...MWC, WC, and the Pac 12...you have nothing for the committee...nothing...so do this...

Schedule your east coast teams like crazy in the months of Nov and December...get some 'quality' wins...and then...it makes little diff what you do in the reg season...such a pile of crap...just ask USC...who not only finished 2nd in the league, but in the T also...got snubbed...ASU finished 9th and were quickly bumped in the T, too...got in...bad, committee...

And this curious case in the mid section of the country...Oklahoma was the darling
 of the early season...until EVERYONE figured out how to beat 'em...they lost 11 of their last 15 games...went kerplunk in their T...and still, got in...the other team in that state...Oklahoma St...beat the likes of Oklahoma, Kansas twice (my overall pick), and another strong Big Dance member, West Virginny, IN Virginia...got snubbed...bad, committee...

Well, it is what it is...the alleged FBI tapes, notwithstanding...the games go on...as if nothing has happened...wowser...and NO MENTION of them, too...yes, my friends, the almighty dollar is in play yet again...first, to get the athletes at a school...and now to bet on them in this Big Dance, er, March Madness...you feeling manipulated?...

Yes, kids...it stinks worse than anything in collegiate sports...pinch your nose...and...I gotta run...early tee time...and lawdy, it is dark out!...I'll write about Tiger...manana...
