Monday in the GQ

Hey kids!...just a quickee as I have an early tee time...we are on Spring Break in these woods...as the weather is cooperating...said to be in the low 80*s later on...yessiree Bob!...

You see the foo who launched himself via his home made rocket?...and lived!...somehow was trying to prove what the Celt's star, Kyrie Irving, blurted out last season...that the Earth was indeed flat...alrighty then...

Bubba...think he is not in form heading into the Masters?...crushed his opponents in the Match Play T in Austin...oops, for you not in the know, that is Bubba Watson...

Your Prez T, decided to kick out dozens of Russian Diplomats, in good faith with what happened in Britain...hmmm, like FIVE dozen...what COLD war are you talking about?...

I can't make this up...Rick Santorum...the foo politician that ran for President from the Repub side...twice I believe...showed his NRA allegiance...when he mocked the marchers with this beauty of a statement...'instead of marching, you should be learning CPR'...there you go, he just got a $100,000 check for his new campaign...guess from where?...

CBS had a prob with their east coast feed of 60 Minutes...well, more of a factor...the story by Stormy and her alleged affair with Prez T...seems that the hoop game of Duke/Kansas went to OT...and delayed the start of the broadcast...

She was totally believable...he is not...ha ha...whatever, not sure where this is all going...if it were Slick, the Hilz would be a running, if she could...but she can't...wait, what am I saying?...

Kansas won in OT...as the final shot by that Duke bloke missed somehow to force the extra 5 minutes...the ball caromed off of the rim in every possible angle before falling out...hey, I probably won't win the bracket, but I'll be hap hap happy if I pick the overall winner...

Our Beamer is here!...yup, we picked her up in the afternoon...and she is a beaut, my good friends...they have tweaked some things in the style that we got...hardtop convertible...just in time for the sunshine!...

One of my new feeds is the Washington Post...the problem?...they want me to pay for the reading of their articles...like money...is this the wave of the future?...

Say what?...the oldest gun making company in the US, Remington, is filing for bankruptcy!...hmmm...what does this mean?...

Very odd situation in eastern Europe...as the snow that is falling and sticking is slightly ORANGE!...say what?...something about the atmosphere has some sand mixing in...


Finally, the Stock Market is flying high today...I will never, ever, figure that damn thing out...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
