March For Our Lives

Listen adults, the KIDS won't let this issue DIE...this is the national day for their feelings about GUN CONTROL...and will take their views to Washington DC...yea, this is the groundswell I have been alluding to...and has been tabbed the 'March For Our Lives'...couple it with demonstrations throughout the land, and the teenagers will have their input...think Congress will notice?...this is our future, and I hope...they continue right on...and become VOTERS!...

When was the last time that the kids have had this much passion?...back in the Vietnam War years...and that was an extreme thorn in LBJ's and Richard Nixon's system...let's hope it has as much of an impact on this administration...of course, he doesn't stay in the White House much...let's just see what happens...

The Big Dance...er, March Madness...whatever...Duke prevailed...egads...my fears continue on...Villanova did, too...the masses who still are in their brackets have either of these two as the winner...hmmm, the Horse still has his in it...Kansas...who plays the Blue Devils next...as I said yesterday, if I was in Vegas, I would bet a C note on Duke...

Over in the gals version...the Beavs had a HUGE upset win over Baylor, a perennial strength in the ladies NCAA hoops...terrific W!...today, it's the Ducks chance to move on...hey, the Pac 12 already has the aforementioned Beavs in...and also UCLA...just the opposite of the guys Pac 12...right?...

The PGA match between Spieth and Reed was a bummer...Jordan was off kilter from the get go...and it never materialized...Patrick was on cruise control and won easily...maybe what Reed says is the truth...

PDX has faced two of the strengths in the NBA at HOME...and lost...hey, they play crappy D and it shows against the better teams...get in gear and outscore the opponents...they need a change at the top, I tell ya...

I got a popup Wednesday that Lady A is in concert in Chula Vista in August...I got an invite to get tix early one day...and did so...that is Lady Antebellum to you, not in the know...you heard of them?...great show...not crazy about the venue, but once in a while...we can handle it...

You see the item of a family from Iowa who died in Tulum, Mexico?...'foul play' is not suspected...what?...there has to be more to this story...something smells...

Started looking at our next Nashville trip...geez, the flight is more than $1,000!...and lawdy, that is Southwest...have an itch to see Shania Twain at the Bridgestone...July...no commitment, yet...

Speaking of itches...we have a big one...to move closer to the kids...yet, not too close...ha ha...we could sell our place and start renting until we find the exact destination....or, I don't know...now, M, has got it, too...

Finally, today is the ponies...over at the off track with HDCP Andy...I still have a voucher that is worth some bucks...you know, it is EASIER to wager on them hosses, than on the college hoops...

What's the odds that the new Beamer is in my hands tomorrow?...15-1?...this is SUPPOSED to be what it looks like...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
