Wisdom?

How the devil are you all?...we see some clouds, a bit of some of that thing one calls precipitation...not much, mind you, but, enough to call out the long pants...'hey jeans, where are you?'...put on some tennies, and trash the flip flops...what is this world coming to?...

Equally as bizarre, were the Golden St Warriors...in their mismatch of a game with the Phoenix Suns, make that woeful Suns...Head Coach Steve Kerr, in his infinite wisdom...decided to have his own players do the 'coaching' during the timeouts, in lieu of him...said that the players are tired of hearing his voice, well, for at least the last month...so, sitting with the dudes, with a coaching board...were the likes of Iggy, DWest, and of all people (not suited up), Draymond Green...'I said, set it up!'...

They have plays?...

Bet HC Kerr wouldn't have done these shenanigans if they were playing the Spurs...ha ha...come to think of it and him...he might have...

Have you ever heard the song...I can't believe it was a hit...even though it was great listening...'Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah'...by Allen Sherman...about a kid at a summer camp....makes me laugh every time I hear it...it's a MUST do...find it...

I'm talking about wisdom today...what we deem as the secret to success...why some people have it, and most seemingly, don't...what?...not everyone has it?...nope...I think age adds to the possibility of acquiring it...take us Injuns for an example...we think that the Elders possess it...yes, we do...

Mark Burnett has it...actually, James Mark Burnett...he is the producer of some very successful reality shows on the pixels...to name the two best, Survivor and The Apprentice...somehow manages the newness of something that is not, now...and keeps it fresh...still...that, kids, is wisdom...

Bill Bellycheck...the Head Coach of the New England Patriots...he has it...how else can you explain that he gets his team to the Super Bowl as often as he does?...the ins and outs of a group of 20-41 year old athletes...amazing ability to do this every year...

Back in me hey days...well, the late 60's and early 70's...there were the singing stars of the era...the Beatles and the Beach Boys....seeking out wisdom for themselves...traveled to India...to find it...the gig?...TM ( transcendental meditation)...from the dude who had it...the Maharishi...he had it...I guess...

Rob Porter (OUR White House Press Secretary) does not have it...to hear his explanations for the injuries to his ex-wives...well now, I am not the turquoise robed judge, but I am leaning to not believe his reasoning...this is an example of 'no wisdom'...oops, make that FORMER WH Press Sec...

What is this wisdom, anyway?...come to think of it...we all have it in our system...to use it is another thing...to do the right things...some do it more often than others...is it the foundation to our prognostications?...or, is it what we say to others, to guide them?...here is your lesson plan for the day...talk to your sphere of people...and discuss with them...just, what is wisdom...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
