Wack Wednesday

Morning ya'll!...it is for sure a Wack Wednesday...who on earth came up with the spelling of Wednesday?...shouldn't it be Wensday?...hey, if you are just learning this language, fuggit about it...lots doesn't make sense...e before i, unless followed by a c...something like that...sometimes a is not an a, but rather it is an ah...try rhythm on for size...rithum, right?...or is that write?...should be rite...good luck if you are just beginning...

The wants and needs of the new Prez...the latest?...a military parade...wait, a what?...yes a MILITARY PARADE!!!...so we can show all of them others out there, what we have, and how strong we are...take that North Korea...and Russia...and well, whoever we are needing to show...maybe some of them 'shit hole' countries, too...maybe we need a new flag to put up, too?...oops, I digress...

There is a story out that the one and only Garth Brooks...visited Low Broad for the 1st time the other day...what?...a country legend...that only went there NOW!...how did that happen?...for you who haven't been to Nashville...your clock is ticking and you will absolutely lurve the trip...that is, if you like country music...and believe me, it is everywhere in downtown...trust the Horse...we will return some time this year...

I told ya...to take the points and the Thunder versus the highly over-rated team of mine, the Golden State Warriors...OKC just mauled 'em in Alameda...Westbrook and George had a field day...still can't believe they are doing as poorly as they are...when it's time to step up, they can...could be that the season is way to long, and the guys get bored...

The Warriors...will not get back to the finals...they are soft and are lazy...way too many turnovers...and listen, got pushed around bad by the Thunder...which is the mantra for the rest of the league...time to put on your man pants, Steph...and while I am saying this about GS...the same is true for the Cavs...they won't be in the finals, either...2 new teams fighting it out...yup, you heard it here...FIRST...refer back to this date, 2/7/18...

Hello Fresh...meal number one...was a 9...shrimp something...and the way it is packaged and the product...all great...comes with a card that gives you the recipe to follow...so far, so good...we have 2 more this week...a chicken and a steak...how can that be bad?...well, I'll let you know...

You know....it won't be long (The Beatles) before the actual CD's can be bought at a store...Best Buy will not carry 'em anymore...and the amount of them at Target has dwindled...so...it must be that to get your music out, it is by iTunes or the equivalent?...from the web net?...seems to be a hit...and not the good way...

Speaking hits...the DOW rebounded by a +567 yesterday!...and it is up over 200 as I write this am...talk about wack...

Today, I am in a little club golf tourney out at Sycuan...I, a, went around to a couple of golf shops yesterday...gandered at some new clubs...got me some gloves...as the one I have now, has a big hole in the heel...not bueno (not an English word, you newbies)...bought me some, so I'd be prepared for the T...

Ran into this dude, who was also looking at the gloves...then recognized he was a baseball guy...and former Pad, Aaron Harang...6'6"...talked for a bit, and appears to be a great bloke...geez, I used dude, guy, and bloke in the same paragraph...a no no...just like having a military parade...



Didn't buy any clubs...but it did inspire me to go to the storage...and fish out a couple of my Vokey wedges and me Nike putter...to replace what I have been carrying...

FORE!...or should that be...for?...or four?...or phore?...or foor?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
