Not sure where all of you live, but down here in SoCal it is cool, make that, COLD!...our low is in the 40*s...yes, you are reading this right...couple that with a chilly wind and we are in unchartered waters...and YES, that is the headline...

The obvious, that this month of February has the fewest days in it...but, it does seem to go faster than all the others by a week...didn't I just pay them damn bills?...sure seems like it...oh yea, and we are waiting for the new Beamer...for some odd reason, makes the days go quicker, too...

Ryan Secrest is the latest celebrity to go through the 'me too' thinger...I dunno, this is getting weirder and weirder...this one has some more of that 'hush money' involved...requested by the accuser...way back when...makes it harder to buy into...

Baby steps...in the groundswell...Dick's Sporting Goods is no longer going to sell the AR-15 and the like...takes a bunch of these and we will get there, kids...eventually...let's hope that there is no more mass killings in the interim...

Another example of the equality of the D-1 guy hoops...Miami beat North Carolina...one of the elite teams in me mind....just goes to show again...that anyone can beat anyone...and the beat goes on (Sonny and Cher)...

Is Tiger going to win again?...can he put 4 days together?...he was 4th in driving distance in the Honda...which I believe is a huge thing for his cabeza...his irons were tight...and if he could have hit some putts...well, I do think he will...how about Rory?...I think a bigger Q...still a young buck...but, if he has the putting yips at his age...I have me doubts...such a hard game...

I am forewarning you about this season's Bachelor...it gets bizarre...so many rumors abound...that he gets engaged, then it falls apart...and he sees others...and on and on...and, how does Beka get back involved?...ah yes, you can't make this stuff up...

Let's say you are a Demo...and you are disgusted with who is in power...well now, kids...it's your turn...who you have to step up and be YOUR candy man or woman in the next election?...use all your energy to do this...rather than try to take down what's going on (Marvin Gaye) now...get your biz on...

Hope Hicks...the present White House Communications Director...got her grilling by some crack Congressional dudes about the interference of Russia...admitted to the panel, that she did in fact, tell some 'little white lies' along the way...what?...what she thinks is white, just may be...well, why is she lying at all?...maybe we need more than Hope...to talk to...

The NFL is changing pizza supporters...Papa John's...infamous for the coupling of the Broncos elder QB, Peyton Manning and the owner of PJ's...is gone!...now, the league is bringing on board Pizza Hut...wonder who their spokesperson will be?...BTW, both are bad pizza...ha ha...

We are heading back north...and for sure will have some unmatched pizza...at Padingtons...unfortunately, the trip is for a funeral...sad times...

The Academy Awards are this weekend...the Oscars...yes, we have seen NONE of the flicks up for honor...but, the reminder of the last year's flub...by the naming of the wrong best picture...was that a fiasco...or what?...really, I don't care...oops...

After addressing the world's issues last night, in undeniable scrutiny, with our guests Cliff and Fran...we spun some vinyl...Barbra, Johnny, and others...cool night...

Geez, I got up and turned on the heater...what?...happens like 10 days per year...this is one of them...boo...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
