Shut Down

Ah, the monthly crisis of the US Government...can Congress come up with enough cash to keep the place a running?...listen kids, this is not unique to this regime...seems that it's the Demos turn to block what the Repubs put up...in Prez O's time, it was just the Opposite...thus far, the House says OK, and now it's in the Senate...talking the bill to keep the bills a flowing...100 of them highly educated, people serving, Senatorial types are debating it, 60 are needed to keep the country alive...they are thinking 'what's in it for me?'...lawdy...they have today to work it out...or, SHUT DOWN!...

Maybe a bunch of the streets will be just that in our area...for a march...the so called 'March For Life'...I guess it is nationwide...ie, in DC...the anti-abortion movement...wait, hasn't that always been the evangelical cry?...whatever happened to the right to choose?...

Hmmm, what do you think about when you have a surrogate make your baby?...if you are rich enough to have this done...and you don't do it yourself, cuz it's too hard on your body?...so you hire someone else to do so...I dunno, all I know is that when we had ours, I was so amazed with the process...and how hard it was on Marsh...or, if you can't physically do it...I get that...what about the surrogate?...has to be weird...right?...I am lost in this...is this covered in the march?...

The NBA announced the all star selections for the starters...as voted on by the public...some may say fans...the top 2 vote getters are then put in a room, and do a school yard pick for their team...the WORST way to do any selection process EVER...the last one standing is the Horse...crap, I'll take him...oh yea, the votes are in...and your Little Ball got more than the PG from PDX, Dame Lillard...big city versus little city...give us all a break....if the Ball kid gets selected (better not), he will be the last one picked, I guarantee you...ha ha...bitter?...naw, well, ya...

The Eagles are coming to Petco Park for a concert in September...and yesterday, one could buy tix prior to the public, if you had the special 'code'...which I did...the tickets were $395 for ONE!...WTH?...that's a plane fare to Maui....think I'll pass on this...I think I could buy the original copy of 'Witchy Woman' for that price...

When I think of Shut Down, you know what comes to me mind?...the song by the Beach Boys...yea, I  get ya'll...I like them a bit too much...but, have you gone to one of their concerts?...look, you will have the best time ever...trust the Horse...and, I guarantee you it won't cost $395 a seat...which, by the way, you won't sit in for very long...'Fun Fun Fun'...

The alleged lurid affair of the before Prez T with the porn star...hmmm, if that's what one does for a living, are they all called 'stars?'...seems like it...let's see, that was back in '06...kind of like a sidelight, than anything else to this guy...the press wants to make it more...but, gosh there are so many paths to follow...

I mentioned Amazon yesterday, as their plight for another headquarters is looming...a gigantic plus for the city that gets it...well now, if you are one of them 'Amazon Prime' peops, you are lucky, I guess...cuz, they raised the entry rates 18% today...what you get?...accelerated shipping, and no charge for it...there you go, a day late and a dollar short...something like that...

I asked for 'short on the sides, long on the top, and block the back'...he said, 'you want the number 2?'...I guess that is referring to the clipper cut for the sides...they use the shears only for a minute...in and out...in 8 minutes...maybe that was where the in n out came from...yup, I get the military cut...'$12 bucks please'...I look like everyone else that leaves that barber shop...

That bloke ( and wife) who tied up their 13 kids...the stories that the police gave yesterday, were terrifying...how any parents can do that to their off spring is beyond comprehension...imagine the pain that the kids will have forever...as well, as what they endured...

Well, it's National Popcorn Day...we have gone thru a number of ways to pop the corn over time...but, I will say this...there are two times that popcorn taste the best...at the movie house and at hoop games...right?...and you don't care what it does to your bod in those moments...amen, brother!...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
