One Port in the Storm

Morning, kids...were you one of them 3 am creatures, that ventured out so you could see the Super Blue Moon?...which is actually red, or reddish...stories out that it is a phenomena not seen since like 1866...about the time that Louis Sockalexis was cranking out the baseballs...I digress...sometimes the moon can actually be BLUE...which is even more rare...I dunno, I couldn't pull myself out to do it...nature is beautiful at times, huh...ah yes, this is the big hit, Blue Moon, by the Marcels...
                                 

What did you think of the Prez's 'State of the Union' address?...here's my take...you might want to skip this paragraph...it was long...but we listened to it all...yup...and I thought it was surprisingly Presidential...hey, it's just one man's thoughts...you see, I am an Independent...and outside of his wall tales, it was decently received by the Congress...a few times the Demos thought they were in Britain, acting like their parliament...overall, a well earned B+...

The Demo's retaliation after...was an absolute joke...a part of the Kennedy clan, tried his rebuttal...I guess that is what it was...to me, they should have had a vet doing it...some Congressional person that has been there for awhile...not a 37 year old, who was frothing at the mouth....at a high school?...I dunno, but that was totally weird...just weird...

OK, how about the Stormy Daniels spot on Jimmy Kimmel?...saw it on one of them sites...Instagram or Twitter, something...and first of all, Jimmy was very creepy...did you see it?...and she didn't respond to anything...which led you to believe that she was paid to NOT talk...exactly why was she there?...if the gals of the Nation saw him in action, I'd think they would have a case for...well, watch it and tell me what YOU think...

On to...

The NBA...more problems for the Cavs...the embattled and apparently highly disliked by the rest of the team, Kevin Love...broke a bone in his left hand and is out for a couple of months...and they got beat by the short handed Pistons...who are waiting for their prize pick up to arrive, Blake Griffin...the Warriors got pummeled in Utah, by like 30!...go figure...PDX toyed with the now blown apart Clip Show and won easily....and Jimmy crack corn, and I don't care...

The stats are out on the Grammy's...nobody watched...well, not many...and it is a sign of what the pop music industry is all about now...there will be artists who will start writing and singing lyrical songs...and quit with the catchy little things...it will happen...just, not only in the country music...hear me?...

Appalling...yes, I am quite definitive on this...there were but 4 Supreme Court Judges at the SOTU address...out of 9...NINE!...it's what I think of when I see that...above the law of decency...and that's who makes the final judgment on issues for the country?...it is disgusting and they should be reprimanded and whatever you can do, DO!...one of them actually hasn't gone since 2010...the one who keeps nodding off, reportedly had a speaking engagement elsewhere...give me a break...time for a change...get some judges in the court, that show that they are representative of the people...this is an embarrassment to our country...is this strong enough?...

Yea, OK, calm down Horse...let's get on to the Super Bowl...does defense dominate the offense?...wildly acclaimed as the best O, the Pats...can they go thru, around, and above the strong D of the Eagles?...will Tom Brady have yet another signature moment?...or will the Eagles put pressure in him...take him down...thing is, kids...he releases the ball so quickly...it's easier said than done...I think the over under is at 48...take the under...31-7...do not bet this...

Finally...right?...you can rest up...the Go-Go's have reunited!...'Reunited and it feels so good'...wait, that's not them, that was Marvin and Tammi...no...that's not right...that was Peaches and Herb...the Horse speaketh the truth...mostly...
