How about that for the rivalry games!...upset city, in the state of Alabama...down goes the top 2 teams in the nation...as 'Bama and Miami were knocked off and threw the impending playoffs in a lottery pick...who deserves the final 4?...listen, collegiate football has more parity than I thought...

In the Civil War...a total embarrassing performance by the OSU Beavs...or, maybe the restating of things by the Ducks...as their premier QB, Herbert, returned...in his 2nd game back...I dunno, it had to be a record, right?...69-10...what?...and that's with the starters sitting in the latter part of the 3rd stanza...yup...2 ships passing in Eugene...just where is UO going bowling?...

OK...let's say this...the games bring the masses together...alums, communities, present day students...it's all quite the show...nothing like it, really...so much better than the NFL...as this has ALL the peops involved, not just some crazed, drunken foos...ha ha...that's why I go...went to 2 Ducks games and one SDSU...thoroughly enjoyed the time...

Pink slip time is out for the D-1 coaches...win or get out....a bunch thus far...OSU, Nebraska, Florida, UCLA, Arkansas, more to come...ah hem, and just now...Ariz St just axed their bloke after a 7-5 season....geez, who is next?...

We have odd weather...a couple of days ago, it was 90*...now, we have fog and 59*...well, at least in the am...you'd think that we live by the ocean...what?...and...on our walk last eve...did notice a handful of trees up...thru the fog...it was cool...literally and figuratively...

Had a great time at the off track with HDCP Andy...made a bit of scratch and ushered the Del Mar ponies out for the season...man, this is way too convenient...as I told Marsh that I may turn into a professional gambler...you KNOW I am between jobs...

Got tix for the Art Garfunkel concert...he's here in like April (I think) over at the Balboa Theater...which is about 5 blocks away from us...you know him?...of course, you do...

Prez T says he turned down the Person of the Year for Time Magazine...has to be cuz, NOBODY reads that mag anymore...you picked one up lately?...maybe 30-40 pages...skimpy...
