Happy Thanksgiving

Morning ya'll...and a very Happy Thanksgiving!...take time out to enjoy one another...do the family thing, if you can...RELAX...read the paper, if you get one...make a pot of coffee, if you have some...pop open your computer and read the dailies, that is, if you have one...geez, who doesn't anymore?...shoot, you must be, as you are reading the Horse...right now...

I can think back to when the fam was all together...back when...the parents were still alive...we just didn't cherish those days enough...if you still have them, DO SO!...it doesn't last forever...in your minds, yes...in the flesh, no...enough of that...you get me drift...

Is there a turkey dinner in the mix today?...you cooking?...going to some other house?...feast with the best...man, the fixings are something else, right?...lurve the gravy...our plans are a jaunt over to Seasons 52...for a plate of the good stuff...no hassle...no clean up...alas, no leftovers, though...dang, always a catch...

What a day for the NBA hoops...I think they all played yesterday...I just kept turning back and forth, trying to get the action of my faves...PDX and GS, both got whupped...easily...the Lake Show did, too...even worse....well, as badly...early season takeaways...Lebron and the Cavs are still really good...Houston is better than I thought...Philly 76ers are the new next best...Golden St is really soft...OKC (the Soopersonics) is just figuring out the 3 headed monster that they have...and the Ball kid (the Lake Show) is the worst shooter I have ever seen in the NBA...

If I was the GM of the La La Lakers...I'd trade the kid and his pappy Ball to the first bidder for a six pack and a jar of turkey jerky...

You know when the Prez pardons a turkey...that has so many ramifications...I can think of so many that need his pardon...or will, soon...

You don't have to worry anymore...the Romeo and Juliets have arrived...and are safely in the humidor...

Fuggit about us moving to Temecula...after researching it a bit...it gets way too hot there in the summer...man, it is hard to beat SD for the year long weather...we keep reminding ourselves...

For your turkey day NFL fix...just in case you need a getaway...as the women do all the work...how many times did I hear that in the past?...ha ha...however, true...Minnesnowta vs the Lions, the Soccer Chargers at Dallas, and the Giants visiting the aptly named Thanksgiving Day 'Redskins'...BTW, there is a renewed interest in the improving Chargers...but...the 'analysts' have been referring to them quite often, as the San Diego Chargers...ha ha...me hopes that the Cowboys feast on them...sorry Spanos, but I wish the worst for you...

Holy moly...go figure...but it was 92* on the beach yesterday...yup, right here in God's Country...Nov 22...what's going on?...

That date...registered in infamy...Nov 22...the day that JFK was assassinated...will ring forever in my brain...with all these 'classified files' finally being released...on it...hey...the government's secret service knew something was up...or impending...or part of it...or whatever...we knew nothing...and I fear...will still are in the dark...

Got this cool pix from a buddy(name protected)  from the Wynn in Vegas...so festive already!...which is what we will be doing tomorrow...putting up our tree and stuff...

And this...it's rivalry week in D-1 football...so, for fun...I'll do some picks for you...just in case you are at Wynn...ha ha...here we go...

Florida St over Florida...shoot, stop it Horse...I picked all the favs...so much for the prognostications...

Did you know that there is a show on the pixels that features the combo of Snoop Dog and Martha Stewart...what?...we are now officially back into the Twilight Zone...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
