Tuesday Tidbits

Morning, kids...yup, still under the weather...but better...a bit...chest cold is not good...duh...but, I did watch a bunch of them beisbol playoffs, that I slighted in yesterday's brief blog...

The Cubbies/Nats match is a good one...looked like a colossal goof up in LF could have cost C big time...as Washington's P Scherzer was no hitting 'em...he gave up one, and then was pulled...hmmm...and da Cubs pulled it out...and probably will march on...

The Bums closed out the DBacks in 'Zona (again!)...did they stay outta the hot tub?...said they would...the Yanks and the Indians in a donnybrook...toss up...think Headley will see the field again?...ha ha...ofer what?...the Astros have something special going on...versus them Red Sox...

More info let out on the Vegas massacre...that the assassin scum shot the Mandalay security guy BEFORE he did the killing rampage...the lapse in time to get to him, by the police in question now...I dunno...easier said than done, I suppose...still, so many questions out there...

Jemele Hill, the ESPN reporter...continues to walk the talk...more tweets in doubt of the Prez...she had to know that she would be disciplined...I respect her, but question her judgment...she believes what she does...what say you?...

How can you not talk about the Prez?...some things that pop up are borderline ridiculous...the comparing of the IQ's of himself and his Sec of St is hilarious in one way...and deplorable in another...

Horrific fires in the brittle northern Cali...Napa and Sonoma valleys hit hard...I actually heard a reporter comment on the effect of the pricing of the wines...good lord...and going way east...another storm that just may lather itself into another hurricane...geez, what is the number now?...

DayQuil/Nyquil...man, it is trying...but, I'm not sure if it works...but I keep using...sick...hope this stuff is over soon...

Da Bears and the Vikings NFL game last night was a yawner...was it my malaise or was it really boring?...could have been either...

Horse is leading the FF league...still undefeated...that's right...the only one in such a mode...just like the Aztecs...have great fear of my next opponent, the always evil...Fruit of the Vine...could be 'hopping' mad...

Tell me this...how can the 'new season' of the PGA Tour start up a week after the Prez Cup?...shouldn't it be in '18?...I mean, c'mon...

Oops, forgot this...the OSU Beavers and their HC Anderson, parted ways...in MID season...what?...had to be a monetary compromise...as if he were 'fired' it would be like a $12 million severance....by announcing 'parting ways', it would be another unannounced amount of cash...hmmm...

OK, it's time to take some pills...and do more of the 'resting' biz...hate this!

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
