The Best in the Biz

MLB Playoffs are alive and well right now...the elite 8 are being whittled down to the top 4...with one game to go...the Nat's and da Cubbies...nice...

These games are a best of 5...and in the AL a beauty was the Indians/Yankees set...where NY came back from 2 down and won it...terrific pitching and timely hitting will do it...however, if the game is favoring NY in the last 2 innings, it is OVER...as they have the Best in the Biz as it's closer...Aroldis Chapman...throws it at least 100mph...hmmm, just like he did last season, as he led da Cubbies to the title...

On they go to face the Houston Astros...a real hot team with plenty of hitters...should be fun...but these games have gone on so long...for the NEasters, the weather is a huge factor...just awful, and cold...

Witness last night's fiasco of a 'beisbol' game...with the Nat's and da Cubbies...driving rain storm...and the game was played on...geez, it almost looked like there weren't any lights on in the OF...anyway, Wash won...and force the game 5...today...back in DC...toss up?...what's the weather to be?...

Way out west where the games are nice and warm...the Bums are a waiting...there you go, the top 4...well, after today...

Fuggit about the coffee maker I thought was the end to end all...this Ninja is a piece...it still maketh good coffee, but you have to clean it EVERY week...what?...back to the drawing board...and to Costco we go...whenever, we get well...geez, Marsh has the sicks, too...

Call me the baker...we had some bananas that were going south...I watched the Regis/Cathy Lee Show and they had a bake off of nanner bread...voila!...I made one, and I must say...it turned out sublime...da best, Jerry...

Word out is that a Canadian man, his American wife and their 3 kids were rescued from terrorists in Pakistan today...took 5 years...hmmm, really?...weird...they were hiking...hmmm...there?...

I saw a great tweet this am...by the LPGA gal Christie Kerr...'I read a lot of tweets today, and doesn't anyone post anything positive?'...point well taken...it's the nature of news nowadays...

This Vegas massacre thing gets stranger by the day...the more 'truth' that comes out, belies what was originally given out...not sure what to believe...the timeline is all messed up...I remember what the FBI guy said in that first interview...'we won't release anything until we are sure about it'...well, the sheriff did, and he was off...I think...nothing yet from the FBI...

The 25th Amendment...part of the Constitution that was adjusted in times of crisis...was done so after JFK's assassination...who takes power in case of calamity...well now...it also covers if the Prez is not fit to lead...ah hem, the VP and 13 others of the Prez Cabinet can vote to ouster the sitting Prez...hmmm, better be cautious in who he challenges an IQ test with...ha ha...the Demos are real interested in this...is this like a 'coup?'...

Just could be that this year's Apple Bowl could be a doozy...the Dawgs vs the Cougs...of course, there are many games preceding it....but....hey, if I were a betting man...I'd take the points and the Ducks at Stanford...this game just might be an indicator of how strong a new coaching staff UO has...

Well Christie Kerr, sorry to disappoint you on this, but...Chase Headley, you know, the former Pad 3b...who was traded to the Yanks...is sporting a lusty 0 fer 12 or 13 or whatever...in the playoffs...yup...some things don't change...

So...at 6 am this crew was out and about...topping off trees in the hood...what?...why at 6?...good lawdy...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
