Slang

Morning, ya'll!...wake up!...it's Saturday...it's going to be a rad day and you need to be part of it...I am hit by the number of slang words, phrases, and anagrams that are used nowadays...blame some of this on the mobile phone messaging and texting, right?...only one glitch...the receiver has to understand what you are INTENDING to say...

When the foo from North Korea calls out our Prez, with a 'dotard'...immediately, the web net was a chirping...the bastard can't call our guy that...until, u find out what it means...WTF?...I don't know the language there, but that is in it?...he must have been incensed that he was nicknamed 'rocket man'...tit for tat...

Speed typing on your phone...and who doesn't own one, BTW?...the faster you go, the more you depend on the auto correct...but, does it change your slang?...usually, unless you go into settings and adjust it...fat chance, dude...you just have to realize the source and guess the meaning....LOL...

There is an AI gal, non-winner...that is surviving in the real world of sanging...pop world, too...very hard thing...Haley Reinhart...gots a CD coming out of covers from way back when...heard a few cuts, and they are groovy...wait, she gots a review from one of her co-writers of it, "the album is dope!"...OK, that, too...

After all the hullabaloo, we did get our new TV...oh my, it is dawg...one of them curved jobbies...OLED (?) and as clear as one can get...also has 3D...where on earth do they show them?...on cable?...hope so...shiver me timbers good...LG...

Utah beat 'Zona in the desert last eve...I was a thinking that the Utes were better than that...good, but not unbeatable...and the coach (see yesterday) from the Wildcats may need a new place to shout out at his QB's soon...can't be fun to play for...it is a game, dude...

Yesterday in the Trib, they ran an interesting article about the plight of SDSU football...just when they have been ranked in the top 25...like the AP Poll...in the last 50 years or so...they have lost their next game...ah ha...them Vegas books know this...that's why the spread at the entire Air Force is only 3 1/2...be wary, blokes...

Yup, the Ducks are in the desert, too...ASU...another test for UO...the line is steady at 14 1/2...geez, ain't college football fun?...at least for the common fan...not so much for the coach, the administration , and the money funding alumni...ha ha...for moi?...absolutely...go Ducks!...

The PGA playoffs...too many dudes so close...today will be a beaut...something tells me, that the guy who wins it all, is the one who has had a terrific season...Justin Thomas...hey, DON'T bet it...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
