Labor Day Quickee

Morning kids...this is just one of them quickees...Happy Labor Day!...used to be...the last day off, until school started up...hmmm...not around here...as many of 'em have been in session for a week or two...anyhoo...have an early tee time...so...

The UCLA comeback win over Texas A&M...wowser...tremendous orchestration by the highly heralded QB Rosen...however...let's be frank...that was coupled with just an odious use of the clock by the Aggies...I'll never get this...how so many of the 'brilliant minded' defensive coaches...will sit back in a prevent D and get carved up...A&M, in a nutshell...just can't imagine how that dude keeps his job...

The Pads won again on Sunday over the Bums, that's 3 of 4...and LaLa is reeling...the Horse has given you the reasons...before...

Terrific win by the Solheim Cup gal, Stacy Lewis, up in PDX on the LPGA Tour...who vowed to give her winnings to the help in Houston...amazing feat and generosity...let's hope it lands in the proper hands...

We have a party here at the home later on...and part of it is a 'photography contest'...yup, the Horse entered one...hmmm, I have so many enemies here, there is no way I will get votes to be the WINNER!...ha ha ha ha...you have no idea...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
