Games Day

I just lurve college football...nothing like game day...in this case,
both SDSU and Oregon, have HUGE matches...each are home ones...the Aztecs have another test, versus the squad that beat Nebraska...Northern Illinois...the Ducks?...extreme exam dealing with them Bears of Cal...ah yes, and both the homers have a 12+ spread from the Vegas boyz...really?...

Last night...I thought it was an upset..as the Cougs beat the media's dahlings, The USC Trojans....listen to the WSU Coach, the irrepressible Mike Leach..."there are so many people running around here, it is like Woodstock, except they all have clothes on"...matter of factly embracing the W after the game...it was not a shock to him...that's the way they prepared for it...and...them Cougs invade Autzen next week...where, yup, the Horse will be, too...double invasion...terrific planning...if the Ducks can beat Cal today, even sweeter...

Staying in college...well, most elite hoopsters don't...they play one year and then are eligible to go into the NBA...kind of the crux to most of the monetary shenanigans...listen, kids...the names that will come up in the next few months are...Gatto and Code...Yahoo Sports says that these are the two guys who have the info on many of the blokes who were involved with the money laundering...and will talk...AAU and shoe companies...there you go...got a feeling that some mighty big schools and coaches are feeling the heat right now...

What an awesome day for the Americans in the Prez Cup!...won 4 matches and tied the other...the International Team has to rebound today, or this will be a closed deal before the singles tomorrow...duh...oh yea, this is Pro Golfers...just in case you are under a rock...2 sets of matches today...and they could make this interesting with some W's on their side...I dunno, don't bet on it...

If you are smelling something stinky coming from the southland, it is the Pads finishing up their season...these dudes want to get home and I'm not talking San Diego...yet another disastrous season...with the worst pitching in beisbol...and the GM Preller still gets praise...from the ownership...oh my...hey, AJ, you gots 4 months to get some hurlers...wonder where he is hiding?...ha ha...

Prez T has said it again...that the Mayor of Puerto Rico hasn't done her job, well...man...I don't get it...the country has just endured back to back hurricanes...devastated the land...and he is calling her out on 'job abilities?'...what am I missing here?...just a thought...if there was  Trump golf course there, would there be more aide given?...shut up, Horse...

I haven't mentioned the NBA much lately...other than the rich appear to get richer...and the top teams get a bit better...and there is now, very little if any, parity, in the sport...but...I do like that Dwayne Wade signed on to the Cleve Cavs...and gets back with his buddy, LeBron...yes, that makes them the best, on paper, in the east...and, unlike many of me old coaching buddies, I like watching the pros play...I get the NBA package and see 'em all season long...$200 for the whole season?...steal...

We spent a goodly portion of yesterday, running around (actually driving) trying to find a 'free' hepatitis shot...in case you don't know, there is a string of probs in the downtown area...and this includes the restaurants all over the area...went to a couple of the sites listed...slammed...ended up at Costco...where we not only got those, but the flu shots as well...and the Horse is sore...one in one arm, and the other in the other arm...duh...interesting, Marsh's were free and mine cost $38...charge more for the elderly....that's the way this health biz works...

Off we go to Octoberfest today...in September...should be Septemberfest...right?...in La Mesa...the same area where we see the concert later on....taking the tram...which will be a bit tricky...as there is the SDSU game at the Q (or whatever it is now called)...on the same line...maybe, we'll have to Uber back...planning, it's all in the planning...

OK, I am the one...that would love to see Tiger playing golf again...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
