Costco!...not sure how this evolving, but one by one, stores have hit the skids...er, filed for bankruptcy, and then...closed their doors...what's left?...the big box ones...the aforementioned Costco and Walmart...right?...and...whatever you can order online...Amazon is still huge...one can witness this by the number of packages that are delivered to our building...the amount is ever growing...and a major function of our concierges...the latest?...food...like in groceries...hmmm...

MLB minor league ball...the teams that just don't figure it out...er, the franchises...no better example than our very own Padres...wallow about the bottom of the league, most every year...send guys up and down to AAA like no other...but, don't address the issue that is the bottom line for all good squads in beisbol...pitching...here is yet another classic line...the team signed the journeyman lefty, Clay Richards, for a couple of more years...'cuz he can eat up a lot of innings'...there you go, where this team is going...again...

For a team that has hit the register for the first time in many years, the SDSU Aztecs...are not a dependable item to them Vegas boyz...the beat down of Stanford, was a shock to 'em...now, the locals head to Colorado and take on the entire Air Force...giving 3 1/2 points...hmmm, still no respect...got to show them dudes a thing or two...

We simply had a terrific dinner at Ruth's Chris last eve for the anniversary...could not have been better!...the steaks were like, well, you know...

OK, the final T on the PGA Tour kicks off today...finally...only 30 blokes left...it is a huge money maker...for them...the amount of $ these elite golfers make, is incredible!...think what Jack and Arnie would have made, in these nowadays payoffs...shoot, this compares to the NBA dudes salaries...way wack, if you ask moi...$10 million for the winner?...something  like that....what?..

Time to get political...the Demos have to be chirping like contented birds...even though they lost the election and especially the majority in Congress...the Repubs won't vote with Prez T, and it must seem like a minor victory for the Demos...no changes...now...get your act together and find a real, bonafide candy person for the next election...

These warm water storms on the east coast are just frightening...the islands are getting destroyed...and...the latest info, is that at least for a week, nothing is shaping up...to come that way...enough is enough, mother nature...

Sick...that's what I call the ending to Big Brother this time around...you see, when the combatants get voted off the house, they come back with vengeance...and they are the ones that determine who wins...rather than give the win to the deserved one, Paul...they, instead, gave the W to the most obnoxious person of all, Josh...a 3 month debacle...

Not sure if you are aware of this...but the colleges are recruiting sophomores...out of high school...can you imagine?...so much depends on what these kids are doing in the off season...like AAU things...more so than what they do on their high school teams...just an odd time for recruiting...

What do you get when you basically have everything you could want for your 43rd anniversary?...a toaster oven, that has two burners instead of one...perfect...
