Respite

Hey yea all...the Horse is back at it...please excuse me absence...as we had them guests from the Northland...the Snookies...and we were a bit busy and thus...no time to write...at least coherently...and then...I have back to back tee times...so there you go...so I am writing in the afternoon...you may call it an afternoon delight...wait, check that...keep it above board, CH...

There were moments in the past week that there were thoughts of a change in name...as I got a new suncap...with all the rich Mexican heritage down here...Don Pedro was being bantered about...as that was what I may have resembled...but, alas, no...the Horse remains...

BTW, they were fun...and outside of me burning some steaks..."I can burn steaks with the best of 'em"...apparently, my creed...

Sad news...Glen Campbell has passed on...'Rhinestone Cowboy'...actually, he had many hits...back when...he had a Variety Show on CBS...which was a can't miss...why isn't there more of his type of show on the pixels anymore?...

Remember the QB out of SF...on the NFL 49ers?...Colin Kapernik...he was the dude who decided to sit or kneel when the national anthem was played....a protest, I guess...hmmm...now he is a player without a team...some say they (the owners) are blackballing him...won't hire him...too much baggage...or...is his ability not of the level of the league?...speaking of no ability at the level...Johnny Football is teamless, too...and has said he'd like to get into coaching if he can't play anymore...this is the Horse's take...he has to clean up his personal life first...

What's been going on in North Korea?...nuttin good...now, there is a monetary ban on them...and the foo is threatening everything he can...we are all observers...until China does it's worldwide duty and take care of that country...and we still are observers...oh yea, let's let Japan fend for themselves, too...

I dunno, but it's hard to watch this version of the Padres...you know all the reasons...but...hang tuff...as the NFL Pre-season games start this week...hey...do NOT bet on these games...as much as you wanna...the Hollywood Chargers will get beat and booed like no other this season...you can...bank on this...

The dramatic conclusion of the Bachelorette...wait...Reality Steve let the news out months ago...yet...there is an uproar on the pick the gal made...really?...I mean it's up to her...why do YOU care who she picks...it's her life...right?...what actually happens in the fantasy suite?...ha ha...

The PGA Champ is this week...I read an article that it was Rory McIlroy's to lose...what?...based on what?...he hasn't won forever...I'd put a quid on Spieth and DJ...and count me profits later...

You heard of the latest beauty contest...the Bumbum Classic...in Brazil...?...just how does one judge this?...I have nominated Snookie as the representative from the USA...as the judge...wait, a judge...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
