Rainy Night In...

What?...no rain...and it's not in Georgia....ha ...hey, kids, what's a popping?...this is a short ditty on the last nite's show of ...Boz...yup him...over at the bay...with the San Diego Symphony as it's or, his, accomplice...Boz Scaggs...let's be very clear...he is the voice of a gaggle of singers from the 70's...or even before that...

His song selection was extraordinary...all his hits...the weather was perfect...light breeze...had our amigos from the Northland with us...them Snookies...

The Symphony as a helper, just has to be a treat for the sangers...we have seen the likes of LeeAnn Rimes just sound beyond super with 'em in the background...and Boz, too...which he brought up often, and said his thanks over and over...

Jo Jo, Harbor Lights, Look What You Done For Me, Rainy Night..., Georgia, Lowdown...to name but a  few...recognize 'em?...and in the latter phase of the show, the locals invaded the area right in front of the stage, that seemed to energize him even more...just fun stuff...

On our trek back to the pad, we opted for a pedicab...as the music blared...the highlight?...JT's "Can"t Stop The Feeling'...I mention this cuz...there was a train blocking the path back...for like an hour...and ...all the pedicabs were at the same spot...and there broke out a dancing party of all the patrons...really...some people actually went thru the stopped train cars to get to the other side....risky business...as was said, 'only in San Diego'...

OK, there you go...as we go...on the 'Trolley Tour' of the city...just like regular tourists...get off and on through out the town...ie, over the water to Coronado...hey...we've never done it...

BTW, the Boz is back out at the Bay again tonight...so, if you can...get on out there and enjoy the festivities...
