Midsummer Monday

Morning all you jesters out there...how's your day starting out?...I see that some schools already are opening their doors...really?...mid August?...yikes...as a teach, I liked the extended summer days...and not starting until after Labor day...as a parent, one may like the early start...

The situation in Virginia turned real ugly...with a killing...and many injured...domestic terrorism...as a crazy drove his car into the crowd...the killer has his day in court today...it is reported as 2nd degree charge...what?...how is it not 1st degree?...

I wrote about it yesterday...nothing in me mind has changed...however...copycat counter protestors popped up in the usual cities of Seattle, Portland, and Oakland...my Q is this...I get the protest...but to chest up to the police, befuddles me...why do this?...

How about the finish of the PGA T!...coming out of the pack was Justin Thomas...actually won it
easily...odd round of his...ie, an early bad bunker shot...but, his putter bailed him out...then, and then often during his game...this is his 4th win of the season...think he's had a good year?...duh...terrific pix of him and his buddy, Jordan Spieth, when they were kids...geez, a fact that they (CBS announcers) mentioned too often to count...anyway, good on him...deserving...

Staying in golf...the ladies get going in the Solheim Cup this week...the US versus Europe...I lurve the golf team events...USA!...

Just got tix for the upcoming Fridays beisbol game here at Petco...the Nat's are in town...egads, their star...went down with a bum knee...Bryce Harper...as they were forced to play in the rain...and he slipped on the wet 1st base...c'mon umps, the game should NOT be played when it is raining...

Your LA Chargers (gulp) got smashed by the Seattle Seahawks in their new home...ha ha...Carson...the stadium seats 27,000...where the number of in attendance was like 75%...and it didn't take long for the 'new' fans to voice their displeasure...in unison, now...'boooooo'...ha ha ha ha....

Ha ha ha ha ha ha...let's see...same owner...new coach...new city...same owner...ha ha ha ha...I do feel bad for the players...to have to play in that situation...and for that OWNER...

Time for some grub...so hungry...
