The Numb...bers

Hi kids!...the headline throughout the country...is the Health Bill (Ryancare) is a no go...they don't have the NUMB...BERS!...to pass the bloody thing...what?...it's a Repub Senate, you say...and don't they vote in blocks (er, blockheads)?...here we go...

There are 52 Republicans, 46 Democrats, and 2 Independents (capitalized for no apparent reason) in our Senate...takes at least 50 of 'em to pass it...assuming that the VP will break a tie...in the elephant way...and they were going to wait for Sen McCain (R) to get out of the hospital to have the vote...they needed it...turns out that some other Repubs turned the other way...the bill was not tough enough for them...egads...

The Horse has been saying this all along...doing his version of Carnak the Magnificent...that it would not pass as written...let's be real...Health Care is a battle of the ages...so many businesses, Congressionals, Doctors, and the common man affected...change for change sake will NOT work...so, we are continuing on with Obamacare...for at least 2 years...maybe longer...

Nuts...

The rookie bowl in Vegas...where the youngins play a brief summer league schedule...6 games?...or so...and then have a T to finish it off...talking pro hoops...the finals were between the Trailblazers and the Lake Show...you do not know any of the combatants...the 'star' missing in it, is the Ball kid out of UCLA (1 season there)...hurt in the semis...and get this...he was named MVP of the summer league...what?..you have a trophy for this?...and, the way the Lakers were carrying on after their HUGE win, you'd a thunk that this was big...oh my, they are telling the fans...here we come...means nuttin...more of my Carnac stuff...

Beisbol is a hard game...at least hitting it...just ask the phenom out of NYC, Aaron Judge...who showed the baseball world how he has behemoth strength...but since doing so in the HR Derby, has been floundering about...like 1 fer 22 against live pitching...or, how about the power bat of the Pads, Wil Myers...has been hitting (?) at a rate less than .200 for the past month and a half...Mendoza Line...and whiffs so often, that he is absolutely lost at the plate...lost...4 times last night...time to sit the bloke down for a bit...or, bat him 7th or 8th...something...

The Open...over the pond...starts in a couple of days...the links stuff...where the rough is high grass...and, usually you can't tell the difference between the fairways and the greens...bump and run everything...PGA...and, da weather, is totally unpredictable...I'm thinking like Jon Rahm, Sergio, or Adam Scott...but...I have no Carnac abilities in this arena...so, I'll pass...

Fallout from the new LPGA dress code ruling?...the gals say it ain't much...just affects a few of the perpetrators...a rule set forth for everyone...when just talking to the few that are showing too much, should have been done...yup, the norm for many bosses...too afraid to address the individuals...so make a blanket ruling...

Some of our neighbors, are basking about in Nashville...sent me back a pix of a Yuengling Beer...can't get it here in the west world....and they were in them bars listening to some country music...it is a great place to vacay, kids...you MUST go there...we are...center it about when there is a concert we will see at either the Ryman,  the Bridgestone, or the new venue...maybe at the end of the year...

Trying to get my mind around the bizarre killing of the Aussie gal in Minnesota...by a cop...something seems mighty amiss...the police are to have their cameras on for these occasions...and it was not...hmmm...she called '911' to report a sexual attack...something like that...and she was the one that was shot...this will only get bigger...

AOL...two of the top 5 items they listed for their entertainment section were of the KFam...Caitlyn in her possible run for the Senate...and mommy Kris in a teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini...Camelot West continues on...

The Bachelorette...man, I was taken back by this...one of the hometown thingers...where the gal meets the guys fam...there are 4 dudes left...and one of them has a bizarre situation...where he and his dad are estranged...after his mother's death, when he was 15...the dad turns to a diff religion...and the dad basically rejected the Batchelorette...oh my...really really sad...even worse, that kid was the one, booted...

You know...after reading back my today's blog...I am, too, NUMB...which leads me to the song of the day...'Numb' by Sally Crosby...
