The Judge

Hey now, that was kind of cool...the Home Run Derby...at least this year's version...where the hitters were put on the clock...4 minutes to hit out as many as the body could...different from the 10 outs, that stopped the dingers...that's a lot of swings in a short period of time...taxing?...you bet...

Aaron Judge was the clear winner...his 1st round match with the home town dude, Jason Bour...was epic...the compact lefty hit 21 out...so when it was the Judges turn...that had to be near impossible to beat...not so for him...just seems to pop off his bat...everywhere!...listen kids, he is the REAL deal...

I'm not a fan of enclosed stadiums...the Marlins one, no diff...the game is and should be played outside...the summer thinger...however, MLB and their new playgrounds now have retractable roofs...as does this Florida one...as you could see the lighting bolts hit outside of it...I guess they had no option...ha ha...I give this production an 'A'...even without Chris Berman doing the announcing...back back back...

The game itself...is tonight...I will watch it...but, usually, is not that exciting...BTW, the players have been talking about the possibility of the balls being 'juiced'...Judge for yourself...oh yea, the eventual AS winner no longer gets the home court advantage in the World Series...whew, it was a crock...

DJ Trump Jr, did he or did he not meet with the Russian lawyer...and plan on rigging the election...and get dirt on the Hilz...???...where on earth could anyone find any such thing on her?...oh yea, do you have to go to Russia to do so?...apparently, so say the investigative Demos...

Do any of you out there have any interest at all in the ongoing Bachelorette Show?...I tried to watch last eve...please, blokes, do not cry if you are eliminated...just not that...

Will they or won't they?...the Repubs continue to rehash over the replacement for Obamacare, er Hillarycare...depending on who you ask...I have doubts that they are gonna come up with one that they all can agree upon...and, or get passed in Congress...

Yea, do not use your cell phone in the bath tub, if it is plugged into a charger...c'mon...really?...

Live PD...you watched it?...how many dumb people are still in this country?...mass amounts...

Annals of Internal Medicine...I had to look twice to see if I typed that right...says that it just may be...that drinking coffee may add years to your life...well now, that is greaaaattt news, as I have at least a couple of mugs a day...in the am, only...

Can't 'the comedian' Stephen Colbert, just give up on damning the Prez?...give it a rest...hey, he is NOT funny...to moi...and I am talking Colbert, Pete...well...

Geez, I took in the A&E version of the OJ Story...what a farce...not the production, but the outcome...and was Judge Ito over his head, or what?...

Finally, can you recall when the humorists.....like the real ones, Stephen, were using the 'here come da judge?'...Sammy Davis, Jr...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
