Man, with a name like 'Skinny Ocare', how could that ever pass in the world of wonders, er, our Senate?...4 Repubs crossed over...one being the one that they waited for to have their vote...John McCain...and he voted AGAINST it!...OK, elephants, back to the zoo and come up with another plan...just could be a terrific name for their harboring place...the den of their brain trust of that party...the ZOO!...

Hey now, I'm not saying that what we have in place...Obamacare...is the end to all Health Care Plans...but, it's been going on for 7 years...and it does give insurance to a lot of people...whether they want it or not...

Of all the forgotten items in the new regime...the makeup of the Supreme Court...ain't nobody talking about that right now...and listen to the Horse on this...it is bigger than any Skinnycare we are being subjected to!!!...equal rights are at stake, kids...and if it seems like we are going back to the 50's...you may be seeing that right...hang on, Sloopy...

The Pads rode the bats of their newbies in a split of the series with the Mets...up 7-1 and cruising...we went to a reliever...reminder that 2 of our set up guys, have been traded to KC...'next man up'...and he balked a run in...and then gave up a HR...suddenly it is 7-5...nice outing dude...anyway, survived...as the next pitcher did the job...incoming...the Pirates...

Think hitting a beisbol isn't hard in the bigs?...the phenom, NY Yank Aaron Judge, hasn't had a dinger since the All Star Game...

I had to snicker about this...one of our major busts of a couple of seasons ago...when the guru GM Preller brought in these million dollars has beens...one was P James Shields...he was a victim of countless homers...and we let him go to the White Sox...ahem, we still are paying part of his contract...nice, AJ...anyway, he was chucking for them...the other day...and OMG, was doing well...them his 3B made an error...Shields went ballistic...at the 3B dude...enough that the manager had to come out to calm him down...then gave up a base clearing double...and he bolted from the mound in disgust...ha ha ha ha ha....

An article about the runner-up in the Open...Matt Kuchar...who took it in stride, his chance at winning his 1st Major...just got beat by Spieth...and was gracious in describing it...did his best, and hopefully gets another chance...class act...hey, they make a lot of dough, even coming in 2nd...you know, that's coming from a bloke who is on a fixed income...the Horse...

What weather app do you use on your phone?...you do HAVE one, right?...there are a bunch out there...my fav is the WeatherBug...try it out...seems to be the most comprehensive...

This out of NYC...a couple who were amidst of financially struggling...in their 50's...jumped to their deaths from a mid rise...man, what a way to end your life...and so sad....

Well...a wealthy golf course owner...and in the stock market, too...who gave insider tips to Lefty...er, Phil Mickleson...just got hit with a huge fine and a 5 year prison term for his actions...hmmm...here's my beef...prison?...there are a lot of people out there that deserve it more than this...fine the heck out of him, yes...garnish wages, yes...but, prison?...something is wrong here...like putting Martha Stewart...c'mon...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
