Miserable Weather

The LPGA has their version of the Scottish Open, over the pond...and oh my, the weather is MISERABLE!...rain, blustery winds, and it is cold...perfect golf weather?...I think not...most of those on the course viewing it, are the commentators and the camera peops...oh yea, and this...one of the gals in the hunt...is the US's Cristie Kerr...to say she is a pokey player is an understatement ...imagine playing in her group...her final hole was legendarily long...pick up the pace!...

The Pads have now won 4 in a row...after last eve's victory over the visiting Pirates...there is promise on the horizon...it will take time, I keep getting told...it is the path that the Houston Astros did...start with the youngins...and develop the system that way...instead of bringing in the wily, old vets, for one last hurrah...a tactic that SD has used for...well, forever...

Our Oregonian amigos are coming here this next weekend...the feature event is the Boz Concert...have you ever seen the dude?...terrific and he features Miss Monet...have to start working on my Lido Shuffle...oh yea, and stocking up on my bourbon...

The hoss races are alive and well out at Del Mar...and I can't believe I haven't been there as of yet...am going this week as part of Marsh's Office thinger...where I have to wear long pants, a sport coat, a dress shirt, and close toed shoes...I can do this...I can do this...I can do this...

The best thing we have done to our condo unit since being here?...putting screens up on our doors and windows...none of them mosquito critters coming in...and the fresh air is wonderful...contact us for the bloke who installed 'em if you are interested...

You watched the cop show 'Live PD' yet?...a term they use for getting after some repeat offenders in their different locale...is 'frequent flyers'...I bet that is true everywhere....

What was the highlight of the summer NBA season?...the trades?...the Rookie League?...the plight of Kyrie?...nope, the nonsensical coverage of the parent of the Laker's Ball kid...eerily similar to the over exposure of the K Fam in the social sections of all media...one guess it is based out of LaLa Land...where this crap permeates...

The number one thing in all of my 11 sources today?...of course, the continued menace of North Korea...I keep saying this...this foo has a death wish for his country...like all aggressive leaders have done in the past...

Camp has begun...yup, them NFL's...no where to be found down here is the Bolt's propaganda...their owner has 'em embedded up in LaLa Land...where NO ONE there, gives a damn about 'em...too bad, as they were a fixture in SD...beloved...I know, this thing happens in a lot of cities...St Louis, Seattle, Vancouver...the list goes on and on...Oakland...the owners use these teams as tinker toys...at the expense of the home towns...rich people using the non...it's true...

Oh yea, the Bums have won 38 out of their last 44 games....hey, that's 38-6!...ever since they replaced their old 1B....ha ha...
