HUGE Disappointment

Morning ya"ll...you know we see a lot of concerts...lots...and can count on one hand, disappointing ones...dang it all, if we didn't go through another last eve...Tim McGraw and Faith Hill...might have been the worst of all...!...really...geez, when the opening act is much better than the 'feature', you have mega troubles...

I'm not sure how much I want to go into this...the wall of sound that the band made, drowned out much of the vocals...in particular, Faith resorted to near screaming, to be heard...forgot lyrics (often) and even dropped her mike...and poor Tim...his tinny voice was hard to hear at all...when they did duets, he was totally unheard...maybe this drowning out feature, was ON PURPOSE!...

As the nite wore on...the crowd...sat down...covered their ears...and...then...left...early...wanna read more?...look at the reviews on Yelp...oh my...

So much for the negative...the flip side...the unbelievable final 9 holes of Jordan Spieth in the Open...a miraculous bogey from the boonies...that sparked him to a birdie eagle birdie barrage...and the winner jug was his...his 3rd major...that upended Kooch, who was battling hard down the stretch...who, BTW, finished 2nd and the best he has ever...in a major...terrific golf...hmmm, did you know that many of these blokes fly here, there, and everywhere via their own private jet?...Under Armour takes care of Jordan...and his buds...

Break up the Pads!...won 3 of 4 in San Francisco...alas, there always seems like their is hope...as long as we play the other dawgs of the league...stop that Horse...the Mets cruise into SD....a 4 game set...hey, I might just wander over and take them in...for one...

Well, we did a bike cruise thru Comic-Con...to say it was a
mistake, is double sworded...yes, for ridability...dodging in and out of the attendees...and not hitting any of 'em...no, for seeing what was going on...and...that this event needs more room is an understatement...there are so many things set up outside the arena...all over the GQ...and by Sammi walk time at nite...they were ALL gone...smiley face...

You think that the Attorney General Jeff Sessions isn't hearing Trump calls?...like pink slipitis...'you're fired!'...that kind of stuff...the rumor for replacement?...NY's own, Guliana...makes sense...

Listen, the 'wall of sound' didn't work for moi, when the imprisoned Phil Spector used it...it sure doesn't now...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
