Friday!

The best working day of the week...FRIDAY!...er, that's what I vaguely recall...every thing seems a bit brighter...sharper...funner (?, a word?)...alas, there is a little more of a pep in your step...a swagger in your...well, you get the message...it's just a good good day...

Didn't Prez T just return from Europe?...he's back...this time in France...don't see the odious protesting there, like in Hamburg...BTW, have you noticed that this story has completely died...whatever happened to all them blokes who were setting their streets ablaze?...how about the triumphic return to NYC for their mayor?...ah yes, nothing like being ignored...not a good thing for politicians...

MLB is finally returning to action...'Where The Action Is'...remember that music show?...geez, sorry about that...the Pads are hosting the team that they are ahead of in the west...the SF Giants...really...who are suffering from lack of scoring...ah yes, this ought to be a good series...2-1, 1-0, and 3-2...there you go...and...Madbum is returning...dang...for us...good for them...

Us SS dudes....are to be getting the biggest pay hike in years...like YEARS!...ok, you heathens, calm down...it's only 2.2%...but still...like $28 a month...what's that?...2 Big Mac meals, a month!...works for moi...

Hey, with all that increase in my 'fixed income', we have been knocking the idea around to move...again...you know the stories of near moves this past year...we are back at it...it's just time...we have been here over 5 years, and that's our limit...

When one goes to the Del Mar Turf Club to attend the horse racing...the gentlemen must wear a sport coat...egads...been a while...so off we go to get me a dandy one...fancy...and some white pants...Marsh had a pix of what I should be dressed like...and voila!...just like the pix...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
