Out at the club yesterday, I was wearing an 'O' cap...which spurred on comments about what them mighty Ducks are doing...lot of peops recognize me as the former Oregonian...hmmm, they were talking golf, softball, and beisbol...that school has expanded their success from football, track, and hoops...the entire program has exploded...have to give much credit to the AD...and, as many say out here, Phil Knight and Nike...BTW, how about the Bevos beisbol!...first in the nation?...terrific...
The Pads win streak is over...got crushed 10-1...try to get the series today, but one run will not suffice...should be real crowded around town...as the Rock and Roll Marathon goes thru the GQ, as fans are arriving for the afternoon Padre game...good luck finding a parking stall...

Golf...such a hard game...witness Jason Dufner...up a bunch after two rounds at the Memorial...and fell apart...up 4 or 5 and now down 4 or 5...even for the best in the sport...the leader, Daniel Summerhays, has never won...so, he'll be feeling the heat...Kooch a close 2nd...and so is Bubba...odd sequence, as Bubba was finishing a hot back nine...and got heckled by some drunk, I reckon...sent his caddy after the dude...oh my...the gentlemen's game...
