Morning, ya"ll...stay out of the FESCUE!...that is the simple solution to winning the US Open in Wisconsin...it's not so much the extreme length of the course...it's the stuff, that an errant drive will eat up...literally...hold your tongue, matey...Rory boasted about the fairness of the track...then, promptly went out and shot a 78...hit two in the high grass on 17 and now is lost in the abyss...just a mere 13 strokes back...of Rickie who had a marvelous 65...hmmm...more of it today...as the land hardens up...as the scores will rise even more...sorry, Rory, but holdeth your tongue...

The calmness of the sport world...as basketball, hockey, and football are all in hiatus...that leaves us the golf and beisbol....lazy viewing thingers...I'm OK with this...hey, now that the MLB draft is about over...like 60 rounds or something...time to see who the Pads can actually sign...what do you offer a high school kid?...

PBS ran a show on the making of the Beatles, Sgt Pepper Album...man, it was way interesting and informative...I always thought that Lucy In The Sky was about LSD...not so...and many of the songs on it, were about things in their youth...and also, about their surroundings at the Apple Records studio...in England...fascinating...they did all the amazing sounds on but 4 tracks....wowser...

Big fish story again...Amazon is about to buy Whole Foods...for $13.7 billion bucks...

Louisville hoops...the story was 'leaked' about assistant coaches (maybe just one) who helped the recruiting process by furnishing call girls to the incoming prospects...you remember the story...like for 4 years...the HC said he had no idea...well now, the NCAA didn't buy it...he was the captain of the ship...and now the sanctions begin...the big thing?...has to give up his Champ Crown he won during that tenure...Rick Pitino...not sure how he keeps his job...

Think roids aren't still out there?...take a look at some of the hoop guys that just got thru playing...and then look at them when they were in high school and their one year of college...just saying...most hoopsters are foreign to the weight room...so what gives?...you heard of Gain-XT?...check it out...

The telecast of the Open starts at 8...please, no more centering the cameras on Jason Day and Rory McIlroy...who are way over par...while Kevin Na and Paul Casey, playing at the same time...are playing real well...and rarely get the lens their way...BTW, Casey has started today with a bang...well...now it is a THUD!...
