Backs To The Wall

I s'pose I could say this about both the Stanley Cup AND the NBA...but the Preds and the Cavs have their BACKS TO THE WALL!...geez, whatever that means...the are in must win situations, or they are off on vacay...turn on the hockey tonight...it's in Nashville...and that town is bonkers over the Predators....which I have been telling you for a couple of weeks...

Silly sidelight...I guess...what celeb is gonna sing the National Anthem...it's been a whose who thus far...rumors are that it may be Faith Hill and Tim McGraw...or, newly moved into town, JT, er Justin Timberlake...give the game a chance, it's better than you think....

The Cavaliers...down 3-1 and play in Alameda tomorrow...they had a super game in the last...hmmm...got a thinking that the series will be finished off...you are not going to see Steph shoot that poorly two games in a row...however, the Cavs have an equal cast...so...they have to be big time physical...hmmm...I am hedging...do NOT bet on this game...unfortunately, depends greatly on who the NBA trots out to ref the game...

Disaster...the Pads were rolling along in a homer vs the KC Royals...and then BOOM!...gave up 9 in the 8th...geez...this inferior product that GM Preller has put forth is an absolute embarrassment not only to beisbol, but to this fine city...how he keeps his job is beyond me...ugly...

Batman, Adam West, has died...I had no idea he was 88...odd how TV freezes time...sad time...

Fleetwood Mac...remember them?...of course you do...two of the members have released an album together...Lindsey Buckingham and Christie McVie...not sure of his age, but he sure is well preserved...have you ever seen them in concert?...he is terrific...I've heard a few songs and it seems similar to old tunes of theirs...still, the other singing part is missing...Stevie Nicks...

Staying in music...I have found another group that you may like...Levon...kind of sounds like 70's stuff...you must find them and play 'em....try 'Runaway Love'...you are welcome...let me know what you think...

Reality Winner wanted to burn the White House down...and how is she not put in prison for a good long while?...I reckon she will be...what a name...

Local stuff...we found a new (to us) restaurant in the hood...Thai...Monkey King...I think that is the name...it was soooo good...give it 5 stars...really....dif flavors...try the Crab rolls...we have this odd watery thingers outside our windows right now...not sure what it is...is this what the Diegans call rain?...I dunno...

So this is National German Chocolate Cake Day...yup...you know what that means...off to the market and get one...slather on some vanilla bean ice cream, and there goes the diet...

 Oregon St Beavers...ah yes, you know I am not a big fan...but...am so of their journey to the National Title of collegiate beisbol...however, the telecast of the Vanderbilt game was odious...you'd think that the Commodores were the better team...booo...big win for the Beavs...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
