Tooosday Quickee

Just a lil shoutout to all of you...it's an early golf tee time out at Sycuan...hopefully, me calf is up to the challenge...

The Warriors got their sweep...with a huge 1st quarter, like 39-14...something like that...and then coasted on in for the W...and await the winner of the Spurs/Rockets series...

The Pads did a number on the visiting Rangers...yes, a victory!...did get a notice that one of the Texas pitchers, that just got called up from the minors...is a McNary High Grad...like from my old stomping grounds in Orygun...Austin Bibens-Dirkx...good on him and hope he gets in tonight...

Finally, we are switching both our phones to one source...Verizon...all carriers are offering similar plans...we are going to an 'unlimited'...and well, it is very confusing...just hope that what they quoted is accurate...

You do know when I have a 7:54 tee, the Horse has to depart at 6:54...throws me whole system out of whack...poor poor me...

And for you American Idol fans...ABC is dusting off the show,  that FOX canceled...and back it comes!...after the break...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
