Sole Survivor

Top of the morn, kids!...hope your day looks bright...and sunny...and you feel fine...how else would you feel?...you see, if you don't, you bring others down...c'mon, nobody wants to hear your ailments...right?...so, smile, say a "Good Morning!" and let's get the day off the best way possible...

The final of the everlasting CBS Show, Survivor...was last eve...and yet another goodun...really, it was down to a former NFL QB, Brad Culpepper...and a cop, Sarah...she won, but, it wasn't cuz of winning challenges...he won 5...tied an all time record...but moreso, for her strategy...which is even more critical to winning the million bucks...I would have voted for him...it is, was, and will always be, great pixel viewing...

How about them Pads!...a win!...Hunter Renfroe hit a monster HR...and Mgr Green switched up his set up guy and closer...and the newbie, Brad Hand, got the save...albeit, after loading up the bases in the bottom of the 9th, with NO OUTS...way cool...in Jersey...hmmm, the Mets have their own problems...still...a win is treasured...and today...we trot out a 'prospect' to pitch...fingers crossed...

Uncomfortable...the pix and conversation that was made public with our Prez T, his fam and the Pope...suggesting that our guy, should lose some weight...the gals dressed in black...like at a funeral...maybe, you are supposed to wear that...but it looked gnarly to moi...OK, it's all about looks...but it was not what I expected...

The Manchester killings...I do not waver on this...the scum of the World have to be eradicated...the stories of the poor souls who died...just heartbreaking...I also keep driving this point home...the UN must act as a consolidated unit, to seek out the heathens and destroy them...

BTW, a sidelight of the trip to Nashville...we had many, many stories...but the couple we were seated with at the Cassie LaBeau Show...the gal exchanged cards with Marsh...she is a sanger from Switzerland!...does country songs...fun time, kids...who'd a thunk?...

The NBA Playoffs are almost to the point of the finals...the Cavs have to finally eliminate the Celts...and then, the much awaited series with the Warriors shall begin!...should be a doozy, and I would not be a penny on it...BTW, why do we still have pennies?...where can you use them?...

OK, everyone...calm down...we are not moving...after loads of conversations...and meetings with the Savina sellers...we duh realized, we have so much more than what we would be getting...came to our senses...figure we will do a bit more to our place in lieu of a newbie...like a new wall oven...and a new fireplace...what were we thinking?...

Had a fun message session with my NY Yankee diehard, Lindsey...I have been giving him gas ever since the Pads traded (unloaded) 3B Headley to his beloved Bronx Unibombers....well, he hit me back with the present SD 3B (Detleff Schimpf) stats of hitting a lusty .150...well played...made mention that we should journey up there for the annual State Fair...we are debating...Marsh is a tough sell...

We might as well just have a great day...find a way to make someone happy...make THAT be your day's journey...did I make yours?...

And this add on...unhappy people...the tirade that Shaq had with Chuck Barkley...on the after show of the TNT or TBS hoops time waster...where these 'experts' pick apart the NBA teams playing...this time they picked apart each other...I must say it was beyond disgusting and Shaq is not a nice man...
