Monday Decaf

We are out of the rain!...lasted most of the day yesterday...'we needed it'...oh my...well, now...the norm returns and all is aglow...geez, even the Pads/Bums game was postponed...3rd time in the HISTORY of the Padres...a salvation for our souls...ha ha...we bundled up, turned on the fireplace, made a stew...and watched the pixels...

The French have spoken...did you know they are the 6th richest country in the world?...Emmanuel Macron...a Populist?...hmmm, a centrist...anyway, he is a liberal...youngster...under 40...never held office before...and just frankly, was a much better option than LePen...even Prez O endorsed him...there you go, the reason for the season...wait, didn't he endorse the Hilz, too?...

Speaking of the Hilz...her lambasting those who would listen...giving all the excuses for her loss...stop already!...the Washington Post addressed the issue of why...their report simplified it...more whites voted, and more blacks did not...there it is...the DNC tried to sabotage their own party, and IT FAILED!...she is not electable...period...

However, the Demos won't stop...bringing back the former acting Attorney General, Sally Yates...to testify to a crack Congressional Committee...as to what she knew about the Russian Connection to Flynn...and thus, the path to the WH for Prez T...ah yes, keep right on a churning, Demos...

Which leads me to this...the anti-Obamacare bill...I guess that is what it is called...big time opposition for it in the Senate...more tweaking...maybe needed...don't you find it disgusting that the House of Reps, the dudes who passed it...confessed that they didn't read it all...WTH...what is IN it?...if they don't know, how do THEY vote on it?...

This JUST in...hospitals, doctors, and health insurers, combined...ALL are calling for more tweaking in this health bill...too many missing parts to it...you Senators, are you listening?...get it right...

MTV Awards...ha ha...who are these people?...we gawked at it for awhile...didn't recognize hardly anyone...was the Biebs there?...the KFam?...TSwift?...wowser, got no clue who them 'stars' were...

NBA Playoffs...the second set of games are kind of interesting...Celts/DC and Spurs/Rockets...knotted up at 2...all 4 teams have had their moments...and have played well during the season...but can any of them beat the Cavs or the Warriors?...naw...

ESPN, yes, that dying pixel station, was carrying the Yanks and Cubbies game last eve...in Chi-town...freezing cold...I left it at 14 innings...went 18...historic amount of strikeouts, 48 of 'em...too cold to hit the ball, it would sting...the highlight?...actually a lowlight...Cub 1B Rizzo got hit in the forearm by flamer, and former Chi closer, Chapman...he was hurting the whole time after...a big old knot...he has to be out for awhile...I tell ya, it hurts getting hit by that damn ball...especially in the cold...

How about this!...John Daly...yes him...'grip it and rip it'...won a T on the Senior's Golf Tour...he was leaking oil at the end...but hung on for the W...his posse went crazy and it was way fun...I'm not saying he is the perfect role model, but dang it was great to see him win...again...
