Happy Mother's Day

Of course, the best of all these 'Happy' days...honoring your mother...well now, we should be doing this every day...right?...yours is the best for sure...they are all the best...just can't imagine the 9 months of carrying the baby to be...my mom did it 5 times!...hey, the one thing that I tell all of the youngins that I am around...and YOU too...do everything possible for her...while you can...pictured is my mom...Happy Mother's Day!...

And the mother of my son...well, we celebrate...we are going to a brunch over at Eddie V's...you ever been there?...they have two spots...one in Del Mar and the other is close by, at the Headquarters...terrific restaurant with excellent service...today is one of them price fixed thingers...hey, make sure you call your mom...

The Players...hmmm...there is this guy who quietly got himself in the hunt...Sergio...shot a 66 or 67...and is just a few back...listen, with all that water in play...no lead is safe...and someone with nerves of steel will win this one...PNW's Stanley is right up there...maybe...a fun T to watch...

Idol news...since they couldn't land Kelly Clarkson...she wanted more cash than they would give...so is the rumor...they turned to another gal...Katy Perry...she is a probable...hey, why not get Taylor Swift and have a brouhaha every show...or Simon?...I thought JLo was excellent...in the past...and Steve Tyler was a kick...why not Hillary, she has time to kill...I digress...

The Pads got beat in the 9th...again...diff closer for us...hey, there was one thing that was very intriguing...that SD was favored!...what?...that has to be the 1st time in 3 weeks...and they are today, too...what?...we have Weaver going...an absolute W for the Sox...get to your local bookie and bet the farm...if we are favs...Breaking...OK, NO, the Pads are back to being the dogs today...so, save your scratch...

NBA...the west finals starts today...the Spurs in Alameda...the line is 10...geez, that seems like a lot of points...is Kawhi playing?...super critical...can GS stay out trouble?...specifically Draymond...should be the best series thus far...

Am NOT a fan of the NBA's pattern of admitting mistakes by the refs...after the game is over...I do believe there should be tighter control over what and how they make calls...have some retired coaches in the mix...along with the retired refs...for more balanced opinions...fair and balanced...ha ha...

Annoying...what my cable company has done...if we included a land line in our package deal, we got a reduced price in our bill...so duh, I went for it...however, on the TV screen, whenever anyone is calling it shows...we didn't connect a phone to it...but, it still shows...the top two callers?...SD Unified Schools and Macy's...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
