The Masters

Morning, kids...if you are a golf junkie, this is your week...as the best of the sport for the guys, is staged in Augusta, Georgia...the site of the Masters...never been there...but, from all that have, it is said to be absolutely gorgeous...and, the players consider it to be the plum for their bucket list...THIS is the one that they dream of winning...

So...who is it going to be this year?...can a 46 yr old Lefty find enough fairways to win it again?...DJ has won most everything else, how about this one?...maybe Rory?...the list goes on...Spieth?...will that area dodge the crazy weather of the south and east?...Q's to be answered...the Horse thinks that it may be Rory or DJ...but, I know nuttin...just like to watch the event from afar...

And THIS is why you want to win...the honor to host the 'Champion's Dinner', with all of the past champions in attendance...with their very own green jackets on...way cool...what a marvelous collection of golfers...see if you can name 'em all...

I am aghast at the story out of the state of Washington...that a guy comes home and finds an intruder in his house, taking a shower...confronts and shoots the villain...and the home owner gets arrested!...some thing is either wrong with the story, or with their police force...right?...I guess I may have shown my slant...

Break up the Pads!...geez, they laid a number on the highly favored Bums last eve...the much travelled SD pitcher, Clayton Richards, threw a shut out...and we came out with a 4-0 win...the line was a 50 point fav for LaLa...I think we had 4 double plays...matching last seasons entire year...just kidding, ye ol faithful Padres...

The ugly rumor out of Syria...that the ruling party there used gas against their own people...again...allegedly...the world has to be up in arms...right?...is it time to get in their and help those people?...

Have you noticed how many of the major companies are owned by others?...like conglomerates...Krispy Kreme...yup, them...the donuts...own the Keurig coffee empire...and the Peet's Coffee...and, now are buying up Panera Bread...the rich get stronger...something like that...

Barry Manilow...has admitted to being hitched to a feller...?...in this day and age, it can't be called earth shattering...but, he must have felt it was time for him to announce to his peops that he is gay...and this is news?...surprised you ?...

For all the hullabaloo of where QB Tony Romo was going to go...he ends up going into the analyst's booth for CBS...no longer a player...now, a talker...and ruffled many in the biz, by getting a number one gig...over many who have been doing it for years...not his fault...blame the network who hired him...

Polls...here we go again...if you can believe 'em...but they say that the awful Colbert Show is way ahead of Fallon's Show...give me a break...of course, I don't stay up for either of them anymore...Colbert is NOT funny, when I do...biased journalism here...ah yes, the infamous Nielsen Ratings...BTW, they ever contact you?...right, no one I have ever known...hmmm...the Horse Poll has Colbert at a near zero in humor...just a few groans beneath Maher...

The fallout of the LPGA ruling on the huge cheating scandal of Lexi Thompson...where she incorrectly replaced her ball like a foot closer to the hole (joke)...and got a 4 shot penalty...well, the LPGA Commissioner even said that she had too severe of a penalty....duh...there should be a time limit to when you can penalize a player...certainly, not when she (or he) is playing the next round...

Maybe it's time to revise our Congressional Crap...and do away with the 'filibuster' part of the Congressional Floor...so, the dudes and dudettes won't vote for something...or against...and prolong doing so...give us all a break....what a crock in the system...

NBA...just when I thought that PDX had a strangle hold on the 8th spot in the playoffs...their center went down...and the coach has decided to go small ball...and the opponents play high and low...and score at will at the hoop...and the Blazers are losing it, man...and the Nuggets are making a last ditch effort to get the spot...a week of games to go...shoot...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
