The Draft

Ever wonder what goes on in the GM's brains?...talking the NFL blokes who spend a gazillion bucks in prep for their draft of collegiate stars...FOOTBALL...put them thru 'combines'...like, it's not enough to see them play at least 3 seasons in college...and, like what da Bears did...trade up to get a guy that few others wanted as the number 2 pick...a QB out of North Carolina ( who only started ONE season at the school)...what the heck?...maybe he needed the combine...

It's like our very own fantasy drafts...once you start a run on  a particular position, the flood gates open up...most of these teams then went to Plan B...everyone drafted offense...which left the strength of the guys (Horse's view) for the latter part of the first round...beeeezarre...oh well...I was interested in what my team was doing...the Titans...got two great pix...a wideout and a corner...both needed, and we keep loading up...A-...

NBA...Toronto moves on...blah blah blah...the Spurs beat the Grizzles...ugly hoops...however, the Claw is in the upper echelon of the league...like top 3...and carried SA...gots to think that the Jazz will finish off them Clips tonight...is there anyone else still playing in the first round?...too many games, kids...too many games...

Our Pads...got whupped in 'Zona...it's a stretch for us, or anyone, to strut out Jered Weaver to the mound...his fast ball tops out at 85, maybe...and these pros feast on it and him...tater city...oh well, off we go to SF...the way I figure it, he doesn't pitch there...

This politicking over North Korea...like I have said before...has been going on since the early 50's...however, this leader of them...now...is a bit more dangerous than his prior generation(s)...let's just hope...yes hope...that China steps up to the plate...and keeps that foo under wraps...if we have any diplomacy in DC, NOW is the time to use it...

I didn't realize until today, that the conference that former Prez O was speaking at...was a health care conference...hmmm, it will make him very healthy and wealthy, to boot...whatever...get what you can get...right, capitalists?...ha ha...

Speaking of money...the fix and sell it peops on the pixels...seem to get themselves into hot water...personally and professionally...you know, the Flip and Flop drama...and now the Fixer Upper dude from Waco, er, should that be Wacko?...getting sued by his former co-horts for going at it solo...using their name?...I dunno...

Geez, with all these firings on them TV stations...who is who on ESPN and FOX?...

This is the day that the music peops release their new stuff...use to be on Tuesdays...and...as I have said way too often, there ain't much NEW that's good...but...I will take you back to what was GOOD...and you have to trust me and try this on your turntable...Keith Whitley..."Don't Close Your Eyes"...
