This is the time for truth...Round 1 of the Masters...and like I was a fearing...the weather may be the significant factor of the day...expecting high winds...the early tee time blokes, are floundering about...expect more of the same for everyone...too bad...and away we go...

Unbelievable news about the number one golfer in the World...Dustin Johnson...who fell down the stairs in his 'rental' home there...banged up his back...and now is in jeopardy to even play in the T...imagine the $ being adjusted in the pools throughout the land, that bet on this...

The Pads lost game 3 in LaLa Land...OK, let's be real here...we are not very good...it's a loooong season...and it will be lllllloooonnnnnggggeeerrrrr....ha ha...if we can split series, that would be a good thing...today, we have the supposed top pitcher we picked up in the off season going...Jered Weaver...fingers crossed...

I am one of the peops in the webnet that doesn't think much of the KFam...you KNOW this...but they are a visual for those who want that...right?...I get it...don't like it, but get it...well, one of the young ones, who has apparently chosen to leave her body the way it was...ha ha...did a commercial for Pepsi...about standing up to the police...and then gives the 'opponent' a Pepsi...the company pulled the ad...and she got panned...give me a break...wasn't her fault...and that is the ONLY time I will stand up for that Fam...

I'm afraid the World just has to watch in horror over the way Syria retains their land and their dominance over their people...to use chemical weapons is unimaginable...he will meet his maker...just look at the guy from Libya and his eventual fate...will be the same for Assad...just hope sooner than later...but, it can't be US that does it...make that the USA...

Talking OUR Supreme Court...wasn't I?...still can't imagine them passing the law that one can HIDE who gives what money to somebody to run for office...imagine the $ that it took to get that through...ah hem, them lobbyists...that still scares me...that our highest court can allow this...

Alright, back into sports...the NBA is wrapping up their elongated regular season...some jockeying left to do...like PDX and Denver...but for the elite it is pretty much over....in the east, LeBron beat the Celts...for the top spot...there you go...and...GS clinched the top in the west...in a bizarre outing at Phx...uuuugggllly hoops...here comes the second season...which lasts forever...just saying...

Lots of talk about who will be the MVP of the NBA...pretty much figure it will be Westbrook of the Thunder (Soopersonics)...as his stats are pretty amazing for a singular dude...but...if there was another all star on his team, he wouldn't have 'em...I think it should go to somebody from the top team...either from Cleveland or GS...that would make them the Most Valuable...in my mind...NOT, the most selfish...BTW, feel the same about the Coach of the Year...not, the most improved...

WTH...Fox's Bill O'Reilly...embroiled in some form of scandal...?...whatever...my Q for him is this...when does he have the time to write all the books that he puts out on historical items?...I'm just curious...cuz, he's on the pixels 5 days a week...right?...

Let's hope there is no connection with this...but on this day in '17...make that 1917...we entered the First World War...WWI...please, let's just make that no coincidence....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
