Hey kids...we are back from a brief stay at the kids pad in Santa Barbara...had a great time and now it's...time to catch up on what's being happening...like, going on...here, there, and everywhere...

Did you catch the special that was on CBS last eve?...a tribute to the Brothers Gibb, er, the Bee Gees...only one has survived...hmmm, that sounds weird...one is still living...Barry...the elder, too...anyway, a number of sangers did the covers of theirs...lordy, they had a bunch of fun, catchy songs...my fav was not done..."I Started A Joke"...the lead was Robin on that...BTW, the mix of old footage and the present day vocals was superbly produced...

The NBA Playoffs got off to a bang...the top two in the east...Boston got BEAT by the Bulls...and the Cavs should have...but survived...in the west...PDX put up a good fight at Alameda...but lost to GS...Houston mauled Westbrook and the Thunder (Soopersonics)...and SA won easily...there you go in a nutshell...they do not play this hard in the regular season...the Celts do...prob why they won the east...as they are NOT as good as Cleveland...whatever...

The North Korean situation...been like this since the mid 50's, kids...has ebbed and flowed since...they are a thorn in everyone's side...imagine what South Korea goes thru...and now, with the amounts of cash they throw into their military...their presence has grown, worldwide...here's the deal...they trade almost exclusively with China...80% I have read...maybe more...so...you can see who has to monitor 'em...not us....and oh yea, isn't it about time...that Japan can have their own military?...

Remember that airplane that vanished a few years back?...so many thoughts about what the heck happened...well, the seas finally brought on shore one part of the wings...geez, amazing in this day and age, that it took so long...

Our dawg, Sammi...won't eat out of another bowl...has to have her own...so, while in SB, went on a hunger strike...just to show us...finally, we put her food on a plate, and she...reluctantly, mowed it down...who rules who?...or, is that whom?...

The Padres are limping home...got swept by the Atlanta Braves...shoot, I was expecting more...calm down, Horse, the season is way long...host the DBacks...and let's get a W, right?...we didn't score much, which this team HAS to do...thinking about the Thursday game...oops, faulty blogging...the Pads have one more chance in Atlanta today....

Speaking of Braves...this out of the Rez in Navajo land...like a huge area in the northern part of Arizona, southern part of Utah, and the western part of New Mexico...3 police there have been killed in the past 2 years...it's a rough life...for those on it and those who govern...

And this is like way too common...journalists in Mexico are getting killed at an alarming rate...4 in the past few months...cartels rule that country...inasmuch, as some papers are quitting production....oh my...for you who think that it is safe to go there, think again...

Wowser, I have got real...well, REAL on you, huh...just be careful where you go...that's all...

One of the cover groups, er sangers, for the Bee Gees thinger, was Demi Lovato...hmmm, just not sure she is what she thinks she is...like a vocalist?...no, she must be a stylist...that's it...like Bob Dylan...there you go...I now get it...
