The ACC See-ya

Sorry for the play on words...I am talking about the Big Dance...and also about the 'Power League', the Atlantic Coast Conference...affectionately called the ACC by most, if not all east coast pundits...and the rest of the country just buys into it...like moi...sure, and the committee who puts the bracket together, also...9 of their teams made it in...9!!!!!...how many made it to the sweet 16?...one...pooh on them and their reps...make that boooooooooooo...

However, the Big 10 (14) and the Pac 12 are solid...and, thus, deserve the nomenclature of power...hey, I knew that the west coast had some elite teams this year...did not think that of the midwest...silly me...Wisconsin, Purdue, and Michigan for the Big 10...and Oregon, UCLA, and Arizona for the Pac 12...North Carolina was the only one out of the AC See-ya...

Now that I am out of any chance for $ in the pools...I can root for whomever I want...so, the 4 west coasters...that's who I am a cheering for...hmmm...I did do one for Yahoo...and I changed things up...and did pick many of the Big 10 (14)....I have to find that...maybe I'm in the running for that one...ha ha...

Other...

We went on a road trip yesterday...up the coast...in search of possible new sites to live...I've told you for some time, that we have the itch...settled on a gorgeous beach city called Encinitas...we would like it...just didn't see many condos....meaning it would have to be a small house...but...they want over a $1 million starting price...wowser, back to the drawing board...

The new 1st lady, Melania...has notions to finally move into the White House...of course they have to secure their borders better there...maybe build a wall...in lieu of chain link fences...have guard towers put into place...as Prez T has his approval ratings decline...acc (ha ha) to the gallup Poll to his lowest number yet...37...or, maybe have the fences electric...to save some cash...

Flash!  Tom Brady's Sooper Bowl jersey has been found...a drone picked up the shirt just off the coast of ____...details to hit the airwaves later....er, soon...Geraldo Rivera will be the host of the telecast...Mexico, is the locale, reportedly...

The Environmental Working Group...yes, that one...says that there is one food item that has the most pesticides of all...drum roll, please...strawberries...oh my...the safest items?...the ones that have shells on 'em...melons...

The 2017 World Happiness Report has the nation that wins this honor as Norway...hmmm...a similar thinger, was done by CBS's Sunday Morning...that listed Denmark...unless, they are the same...which they are not...we have conflicting tales...a full investigation needs to be done...BTW, Denmark has up to a 60% tax rate...you, my friends, are working for the government...is this a form of socialism?...whatever, it appears to make one happy...right?...

Speaking of 'unhappy'...try the coach's wife of Wichita St...after them Shockers got beat in the Big Dance...she went on a tirade about the refs...and was removed from the stadium...allegedly...hmmm...I had a long discussion about the officiating in the T with my former coaching buddy...I think we agreed that some of the blokes stunk...maybe, I got that wrong...hey...I think that most do a terrific job...most...

So...if you are addicted to DWTS...then you are about to get your fix...geez, that sounded bad...however, it starts back up tonight...here's what we do...tape it...and then skip thru all the insane judges comments...and just watch the dancing...
