I Should Have...

'I Should Have Known Better'...hey, it has nuttin' to do with hoops, but the title does apply to my thinking, or lack thereof, when making out my own March Madness Bracket...the song, is by the Beatles...of course, and the lead on it was John...part of that crazy black and white monster flick, 'A Hard Day's Night'...where millions of adoring fans actually went to the movie houses and SCREAMED!...how bizarre was that?...the Brit's hysteria that choked the USA...well, probably most everywhere...unbelievable...back to the meaning of the words to now...

Sometimes, when you (I) start picking the winners...er, guessing who will win...you get blinded by whom they are playing...for instance, there are teams that win their conference...have like 25+ victories...and barely get higher than a 13 seed, or is that lower?...cuz of who they play...and them pundits well tell you that their season was nice...but not worthy...what?...and then you get some team that plays in one of the 5 'power conferences'...and has like 12 losses and they say that the team deserves an 8 seed...and the 'committee' agrees...they are the ones that put the dang thing together...

So...that is where my 'known better' statement comes into play....the Big 10 (14)...play each other lots...duh...and can be quite boring...thing is, there are quality teams up and down in the conference...so, you can end up in the middle of their pack...and really, be dang good...and...there is this guy...that is one of the premier coaches in the land...that has such a team...saddled with a bunch of freshmen...which is the norm for top flight programs...quite often takes time for the kids to gel...

I'm talking about Tom Izzo of Michigan St...who always has a respectable team in the Big Dance...I overlooked him and his squad...they demolished Miami...who I had seen earlier...and was impressed...but...it was who they were playing...I should have known better...I wonder how many of you did the same thing?...

Well, closer to home...or the west coast...UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, USC, and St Mary's all moved on...and the Zags...hope the 2nd round is as good...fingers are crossed...

How can a guy jump the fence onto the White House grounds...and wander about for 20 minutes?...we need to shore that up and NOW!...

The word out on the Batchelor...hey, this is real smut...that Nick proposed to Vanessa with the same ring he was gonna give to the last love of his life...geez, it must  be a doozy....and if that doesn't make her change her mind, nuttin' will...hey you female types, would you be upset if it happened to you?...

Is it just me, or are there more stories about 'stealing' than ever before?...a gang of 16 broke into a Neimen Marcus store in San Diego...and stole over $150,000 worth of handbags...and...someone broke into one of the KFam houses and stole jewelry...and...on and on....after doing so, where is the market for the items?...and...what the heck happened to the Pat's Tom Brady's jersey?...

You see the two video clips of some PGA dudes in action in Orlando?...at diff times they walk by a gator...lounging outside the lake...one touches the gator and it bolts back into the lake...do NOT do this...and other dude, ran away from it...this is the correct method of dealing with them critters...you do NOT want to be lunch...

This just in...Russia is doing an all points check on our diplomats in their country...like thinking that we may be spying...really, us, er, the USA, espionage?...how can that be?....naw...they have an election coming up?...it's our turn...
