Unhinged

Seems to be the word of choice, right now...UNHINGED...ah yes, our President Trump...held a press conference that was just like...get this peops, like when he was running for the office...no diff...whatsoever...so, are you all surprised?...not me...the scorned and highly paranoid news service, CNN...has been brutal to the Prez...their ace reporter, Jake Tapper, went so far as to call the conference 'unhinged!'...there you go, the word of the week...

Shortly thereafter, the liberal Hollywood rich dudes and dudettes got on board with their Twitters...ripping into the Prez yet again...another no surprise...but, I do find odd the CBS Nightly News broadcast...who led by Scott Pelley, have been doing this annoying and maybe on purpose thinger...in lieu of calling him President Trump, he refers to him as 'the President', or "Mr. Trump'...but never President Trump...really?...c'mon...

Here is where the Horse is coming from...remember, I am an independent and am solidly on the fence...but, I believe you must respect the position...regardless of who is there...make the best of it...it is what it is...for the next term...and...I'm the one that thinks that these new sources have lost their way...too many of 'em think that they are Woodward and Bernstein...and forgot that they should be reporting the news, not analyzing it...

The rain...again?...yup...I have brought in all the cushions and am bracing for the onslaught...lawdy, we use to never get that here...boo...'but we need the rain'...Santa Anita canceled the races for today...the T in LA will go on and be brutal...supposedly high winds, too...booooo....

The NBA All Star game....this weekend in N'orleans...geez, Chuck in the French Quarter?!...oh my...the item for the time, is how KD and Westbrook will get along...on the same team at the same time?...and...this is the trade season...stay tuned...

Locked in...we did it...Nashville in May...non-stop flight on Southwest...staying in LowBrod...tix to Little Big Town...tix to the Grand Ol Opry...really good seats, too...man, that'll be so much fun...anyone else interested?...

And yes, the sanger, Maren Morris, is growing on me...you heard her?...'My Church'...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
