This pix could have been most anywhere in the USA...yesterday...as the Women's March...took place...the message was loud and clear..."Here us ROAR!"...to borrow Katy Perry's song...huge numbers down here in SoCal...likewise in other big cities throughout this fine land...the fear of lack of equal everything is out there...I get it...does Prez Trump?...that had to be the reason for 'em...right?...let's hope so...

I am amazed that it turned out without incident...way cool...mostly, women wanted to be heard...outside of the awful Madonna...it was splendid...I questioned the timing, why not before the election?...still do...but it is what it is...and I applaud the efforts and the message...

Other...

Today we have the final 4 in action in the NFL Playoffs...Pitt at NE...where there could be an upset...two very good teams...and the Pack is at Hotlanta...the line has risen to 6 1/2...hmmm...the Horse is taking the points and both dogs....but...never, ever bet on the NFL...

Dem Spurs traveled to Cleveland to play them Cavs in the NBA...sat a couple of dudes...one is really injured, Pau Gasol...and the other French PG...and still beat the Cavs in OT...a couple of mistakes by the east pundits' darling, Kev Love, led to the demise...ha ha...team play is the diff...and SDSU product, Kawhi Leonard was awesome...41 points...you know, King James, is an incredible athlete...but NOT the best player in the game...BTW, also in OT, PDX beat the Celts...saved the coach his job?...

The last storm is to hit...high winds and lots of rain expected...booo...right around noon...there is an area down here, just south of Ocean Beach...the Sunset Cliffs...where the sights are tremendous and yet, treacherous...the seas are rough and unpredictable, my good friends...and 2 gals were sitting on a rock there yesterday...big wave came in and washed them out...happens way too often...they were rescued...not sure of their condition...

You ever watch CBS's 48 Hours?...quite often have murder cases...here's my beef...they'll show it for an hour...and not have the culprits...very frustrating as a viewer...even worse for the family of the killed...

TLC channel...The 'Lame' Channel...has so much crap on it...well, they have yet another OJ Murder thing...they string you on for a series of shows...trying to show that the cops blew the case...and are trying to implicate OJ's son...as a co-killer of the ex-wife and food server...give me a break...I know, you are asking, 'why is the Horse watching this?'...good Q...

A history lesson...these high winds remind me of this...my parents both worked at a boarding school for Native Americans (you call them Indians)...outside of Salem, Oregon...Chemawa...beautiful campus that had in its interior, a huge amount of very tall Douglas fir trees...we had one of these high wind storms blow thru...and knocked many of them down...tragedy...the land never recovered...they moved the school about 3/4 of a mile south...after...gosh, I miss that place...

Pac 12 hoops...was I hearing these blokes right?...the pixel announcer and his analyst...were blabbing on during the Ducks dismantling of the Cardinal of Stanford...like UO's 16th straight win...hmmm...and these guys were saying that Arizona and UCLA were the best in the Pac 12...what?...didn't the Ducks just beat the Bruins?...oh my...no respect...

Finally...another golfer shot a...gulp...59!...this time on a par 72 course....some guy I have never heard of...a Canadian...in the desert...4th PGA guy to ever do so...shoot, I still can't give you his name...bad Horse...bad Horse...
