When Christmas became Xmas

Cold morning here in the hood...56*...where is my sweater?...or onesie?...anyway, how ya"ll doing?...the main topic today is why we use Xmas in lieu of Christmas?...well, some of us...fact is, it is easier to type...

Had no idea but the origination of it was back in the 1700's...really...a Greek abbreviation thinger...and it took off...Christians rebelled as it seemed to them, that people were taking Christ out of the meaning of it all...there you go, in a nutshell...Merry Xmas, er, Merry Christmas...YOUR choice...

The college football final 4 fiasco...the D-1 dummies, who continue to find ways to keep the money making 'bowl games'...give it the 'not good for the students' line, to stop much of the playoffs...like in all other D-1 sports...hey, the real students are playing D 2&3...and they HAVE playoffs...anyway, I'll just buy into this...and talk about the teams...

'Bama rolled over a way below average Florida Gator 11, er, 75, er whatever the number is that suit up for the games...Ohio St, like ranked number 2...didn't even play for the Big 10 (14) title...what?...neither did the number 5, Michigan...if it smells fishy, then it must be...fishy...the Dawgs mauled the QB injured Buffaloes...so...does Washington keep their number 4 ranking and get to this mini-playoff?...I've got my fears...the committee so does want them Wolverines in it...

The Aztecs went into Laramie and beat Wyoming...thus, winning the Mtn West...congrats, but where does that send them in the 'bowl games?'....maybe into the great Poinsettia Bowl...right here in San Diego...oh my...talk about no respect for a conference...

Due to the number of these 'bowl games', there are teams that get in that have less than a .500 record...isn't there 40 bowlers?...maybe, just maybe, this needs to be revised...right?...

Tiger...he is playing like olden times...even made a run at the top in the Bahamas...fell back, but it's not the same product we have been watching for like 4 or 5 years...he's making a statement...and the golf world is a buzz...he does bring excitement to the game and their tour...

UCLA is on a tear in hoops...actually went into Rupp Arena and beat Kentucky...who I see as the clear fav this season...not so fast, Horse...the Bruins are a factor....as is Duke...and, gulp, the Ducks...well, I'm not a fan of the coaching of K's Calipari...his recruiting yes, his coaching style, no...

Marsh had her Xmas, er Christmas, Party last eve...she looked mahvelous...and it was a grand time had by all...especially like talking to PJ and her daughter, about politics...after a few drinks, nothing made any sense...ha ha...

You DO know, that my entire blog yesterday, was tongue in cheek, right?...some thought there was some real meaning to it...nope, totally sarcasm...

How can this be?...Kanye and KK are living apart...wasn't it to be forever?...maybe just taking a break from all the stress they are under...wait...they don't work...do they?...so what is the stress?...

I've got this hurt thumb...have no idea how I did so...swollen up and nagging me...so THIS is why my golf game stinks...has to be...should I splint it?...I have been doing the ice and ibuprofen method...still hurts....do not shed tears for moi...
