The other is a signed, yes signed...Lennon Sisters...what?...their Christmas (Noel) vinyl from...has to be in the 50's...well, it was 1968...get this...the value on Ebay is $100...and that is unsigned... all 4 gals signed this...you don't even know who they are, do ya?...great harmonies...featured way back on the Lawrence Welk Show...a onsa and a twosa....
Think that the GS Warriors aren't figuring things out?...they lambasted the hot Pacers...getting the ball to the crazy shooting Klay Thompson...who had a cool 60...what?...in less than 30 minutes of playing time...you do the math...think about it...Curry and KD gave it up...to KT...it was fun to witness, at Indiana's expense...
We watched a couple more episodes of the History as Oliver Stone sees it...he has to be a pacifist, right?...still...it is great viewing and does make you think...lots...and question...goes back not only to the WWII, but the way the politics were run...actual footage...you think that things are bad now, you have no idea...well, until you get into this series...
Is it just me, or are there way too many of these night clubs out there...that are not properly made with escape routes, and sprinkler systems?...this in Oakland is yet another travesty...36 + people lost their lives...
The FF season has come to a close for moi...last place...Coach Bohunk has been fired, unceremoniously...he will land on his feet somewhere...not here, that's for sure..he was inept...had bad decisions as to whom to put in his (our) lineup...his pickups of available dudes was (were?) atrocious...yes, a change was and is needed...
I know I keep bringing this up...but what is the agenda of Jill Stein?...she has no chance to win anything...is she in cahoots with the DNC?...I just don't get it...
The Grammy's were announced today...well, the nominations were...this is the worst of the lot...as the 'artists' that are named are not worthy...these singers (or whatever) have nothing of value...let me clarify...songs that you can sing to....Beyonce, Kanye, the Biebs...to name a few...name me one song from last year you hum of theirs....just one...but, somehow, they get in the mix...wonder if it's not all producers throwing $ around...what?...in the record biz?...naw...
The Final 4...I listened to a bunch of pundits scream that Michigan wasn't in it...give me a break...they weren't even in the Big 10 (14) champ game...called foul on the Dawgs being in...why do we have league champ games anyway?...makes no sense to me...am I wrong?...get rid of 'em and schedule another patsy...
We are preparing ourselves for the kids on Xmas...that's what older folks do...made a mac and cheese dish from scratch...you know how to make a roux, right?...I must say it was delightful...BTW, did use Tillamook Xtra Sharp cheese...
Yes, we were serious as to moving about...in time...as we are just a planning...ahead...when Marsh finally gives up the work...we have gone round and round on this...you know, we almost bought a pad in Kensington earlier this year...did, and then backed out...I tell ya, it's hard to beat this mild weather...maybe, we will move closer to a golf course...I dunno...
Maybe just stay where we are...we are so close to the airport and the train...we can go anywhere quickly...hmmm...this weather...is hard to give up...
Finally, what do you do for your tree?...of course, we are now permanently in the fake ones...we call it our KK Tree...it stays up all the time...never sags....oh my...but the fresh cut ones...you are paying more for them...GMA just told us that the PNW peops are not doing the tree farms like in the past...down in huge numbers...I listen to the NYC telecast and they say they pay in the $300 range...wowser...get a KK...for half that price...
Man, do I miss being on the links...I'm gonna go fair or foul on Saturday...
